I agree with you. As a lead he doesn't bring much to the table, which is why they have had to have such "interesting" cast members to add flavor to this season. What I would be looking at though is the chemistry Chris has with the F1 and compare it to Andi and Josh. But in my opinion, of all the couples who have ended up together (whether they are married or broken up) I can't recall as much chemistry as I have seen with Andi and Josh. Maybe I'm just biased, but that's my opinion.

I've been to several tapings at this studio. They could do a red carpet, if they wanted to. Just get some set designers on it. A red carpet isn't much anyway. It's usually a wall with sponsor names on it and a strip of carpet, that often isn't even red. Maybe they will tape a few (staged) arrivals and show it on tape during the evening? I dunno. It's definitely doable though.

I think they are worried about ratings and want to be sure to have as many reasons as possible for folks to tune in.

That's been my guess all along. This is the first time they've done this. And it could be they're just trying to change it, freshen it up a little. But it could be, which is my guess, that they're not as sure as they put out there of what the ratings are going to be and by having Andi and Josh, Cat and Sean and others that there will be good ratings at least for tonight.

I also wish there weren't so many past contestants. The more contestants the less time for our JODI.

Sorry. I'm being selfish again. It's Chris's night and all I care about is seeing JODI. Smiley
