Oh okay. Thank you! Do you think they would cast a new person who was not in a previous season? It's been a while since they have done that. I guess it would be refreshing.

I posted an article in the Arie thread about how the producers wanted him as the Bachelor instead of Chris.  The ABC executives didn't want to cast Arie because he hadn't been on TV for a couple of years.  They wanted someone from Andi's season.  IMO they'll do the same thing with the Bachelorette and cast one of the women from Chris's season.

I agree.

While I doubt it'll be Kacie M, seems moot to talk about it right now, maybe if we find out she was at the WTA or something...

Yeah, I agree. And, Arie was very popular, judging my SM, and I don't think any of the past contestants being considered (Nikki, Clare) had that type of popularity. I think that there is just too big of a fear that if someone isn't seen on TV for over a year, the general non-obsessed viewer will forget and not really care about them finding love. Even Emily Maynard did that break-up interview so that she could stay fresh in viewers' minds. I guess WTA could change things, especially if the other girls defend Britt, but I feel like Kaitlyn is probably their pick right now.
