The Bachelorette Season 11 - Kaitlyn Bristowe - *Sleuthing - Spoilers*

Why is RS changing his tune again now? He claimed to be sure it was Kaitlyn but in his post he did now, he claims he actually has no idea.

See my post upthread, he always claimed it was going to be Britt. He recently changed his mind and said it was Kaitlyn. Now he saying he doesn't know? Probably because our great sleuthers here found fan pics for both Britt and Kaitlyn with camera crew in tow.

He is trying to save his as# because he doesn't know! Now he can claim "he didn't know," and no one will come after him for being wrong. He is something else.

I just want to say well done to all the sleuthers on this board. This is the first season I have used this board and RS, and it has made me realise how much of RS "top secret info/sources" are 1) speculation 2) social media stalking and 3) just stolen from here. 

It's funny considering he said it was 100% Kaitlyn last week. Clearly he didn't have a good "source" on that. He's thinking they might do two bachelorettes for the first episode since both were being filmed by the same camera crew just a day apart and the guys pick which one they want to officially be the bachelorette. That would be pretty cool as it would spice up the first episode.

I wouldn't be surprised if production/ABC are just being jerks and dragging both girls along and will tell one of them today or has told them in the past day or so. Either way it will be interesting.

Why would the show do that though?  I don't get the freaking point of having them both be filmed. It's not like RS has been right on who the next Bachelorette is.

Clearly, RS has no idea who's going to be the bachelorette. He's been basically just predicting who he thinks it will be without having any real or concrete sources. Just now I was reading his column and now he's saying that he thinks he may even be possible that they are going to announce that both Britt and Kaitlyn are going to be the bachelorette and that they are going to let the guys choose on the first night who they want, similar to what happened on Byron's season. He thinks they just may do that for the shock factor and to change things up a little bit on the first night. So the 3 scenarios that can happen at ATFR tonight are: A. Kaitlyn is announced as the bachelorette, B. Britt is announced as the bachelorette, or C. both Kaitlyn and Britt are announced and they will let the men choose the first night who it's going to be. So basically, RS is covering all of his bases. I personally want it to be Kaitlyn, so I hope she is announced tonight. I think if they allow the men to choose, I think more of them may choose Britt over her, but who knows? If the men watched Chris's season, they may not like all the drama that Britt brought to the table. Even if they initially choose both, I am sure we will know almost immediately after the decision is made due to SM, so at least the wait for who is going to be the bachelorette is almost over!

I guess there is no point except is gives TPTB more time to make their final decision. They actually did this with Chris's season. TPTB filmed both Chris and Arie and even filmed Arie telling his family he was going to be the bachelor. They then went ahead and chose Chris. I think in one of Sean's recent interviews, he gave some information similar to this.

I just wonder, I think from the get go, TPTB wanted Britt. I don't think they anticipated some of the negative reactions she received from the public (even though they edited the show to sometimes show her in a negative light). That is where I think they jumped on the Kaitlyn as bachelorette bandwagon, although they may not be all in w/her, so that is why they are leaving the door open to it being Britt.

I also think the scenario where Britt and Kaitlyn are both the bachelorette the first night and one is chosen over the other is interesting. I could see them doing it to change up the season a little bit. This has been done with a bachelor, but not a bachelorette. I could also see TPTB doing this to play up the drama between the 2 women because it appears that they were not close in the house and did not get along very well.

Now the part of the show that I am most looking forward to is when they announce the bachelorette.
