I work in a real estate office, I'm familiar with it as well. What I meant to say is if she moved post show, but she has been with Lofts for a couple of years, I would have thought she lived closer to Toronto prior to filming.

I supposedly it doesn't matter now!

Last night Entertainment Tonight Canada had a segment with Tim and April together and separately Trish. They were all dressed in their ATFR outfits and in the ITM room. The segment was not long, but I don't recall Entertainment Tonight even mentioning the Bachelor Canada in the first season. Entertainment Tonight Canada airs on a different network. The video is not up on their site as yet but I'll watch for it.

It's kind of funny, last night when I was channel surfing , I saw ET and thought should I watch it and I thought nah, they won't be on there!! Dang It!!

OK. Watched. It was really quick and pretty much what we have seen already. They were asked about the TV wedding. They talked about how people have shared in their story and are involved it and want to be a part of it and this time he said he is willing to share that but, they will see. So not as definitive a no like earlier. The whole time, he is stroking April's shoulder.

They interviewed Trisha and asked if there was a Bachelorette Canada would she do it. She said she saw the stress that Tim was under and kind of fluffed around it and the host told her she could figure it out and then she laughed and said that would be amazing.

Great recap! Mostly I found it curious the show had granted a finale interview at the time of taping, and to another network. Adds a whole other group of people who were keeping that secret.

I think they can do a lot better than Trisha. They need someone more intriguing, with some depth. I'd rather see Bianka as Bachelorette, or someone new. The Canadian producers have done well casting the leads. I bet they could find a terrific unknown woman.

I watched some of ep.1 again last week, and realized something (sorry if this has already been discussed).
In April’s presentation she says “The Bachelor should know that I’m a lot more work than other women, but I’m worth it”. Initially, that came off as a bit stuck-up and – as we got to know her – very out-of-character.

But this time I noticed that the presentation was clearly made in the summer, after the show was filmed. The statement was like a secret message, foreshadowing what would happen on the show. So I got much more convinced that she would stay and become the F1.  

Filming the presentation after the show also means that the producers didn’t really think pre-show that the shy girl was top 3 material. That must have changed real quick at “don’t go yet”.
