Is it different tho when the lead is female? I didn't get to see all of the Bachelorette shows. Were there some that had a 'physical edit' like JPs and were F2s? Or is the edit with the female as leads more of "I don't know which one to choose"

thanks Mr Write for confirming what we've been thinking. As to her hair "part" - in the ones where it's over to the left, that's the winds doing, not her hairstyle. She wears her bangs to the right (us looking at her) that never changes).

I will bow to everyone's expertise on this and agree that she normally parts her hair on her right, but I think sometimes when others style her hair, they switch her parting - see below. There are also images of her with hair parted down the middle. With the wind blowing from behind her at the FRC and wanting to see her left hand it makes sense to part on the left -JMHO.

When you watch the video of the FRC, every time you see Ashley and the wind isn't blowing her bangs sweep to our right, when the wind is blowing when she's down by the water, it's blowing over to our left, except for when she's looking out at the plane, then it looks like it's blowing in the same direction that she normally has parted her hair this season.

IDK - I don't know Ben personally, I don't know his family values, I don't know if there was more to the sentence. It totally could've been one of those fake-out scenes we get, where the next thing he does is laugh his ass off and says 'just kidding'. Like when it looked like Jesse didn't want to accept the FD card before meeting Dee's dad...it looked pretty real in the preview til it played out.

I'm with you Anders, I think it is a fake out scene. It's in there for the general viewing audience, not us sleuthers.

If you are talking about the scene when Ben says how important it is for his mother and sister to like Ashley, that if they don't it doesn't work for him, well, I think it is real. However, I think they will like her and that will be a non issue, infact, I believe that is what Ben tears are about. But, on the other hand I think the conversation will play in Ashley head, again. Just another part of her insecurities. jmo

I sure didn't get that out of last years edit, and neither did the majority of the viewing audience as Emily was always considered to be F1 by them. Emily was America's sweetheart and was so much in the forefront that we even dubbed it "the Emily Show". The only reason that many of us thought it was Chantal, was because not only there a mutual attraction but we all thought him choosing Emily was just to obvious... us seasoned vets weren't falling for the old in your face romance.. nope, not us

Honestly, even though I know Jill constantly talked about how hot Kiptyn was (as did some fans), and there didn't seem to be much more to their connection than that, I always found their actual kissing to be extremely awkward and anything but "hot". And although I refused to see it at the time, she was crawling all over Ed an awful lot, especially during their infamous "E.D." scene, as well as the sequel, "Revenge of the Volcano".

I know you and I will never agree on this topic, but just for my own clarification and maybe to make myself more clear. Em's edit as F1 was slower growing, albeit there from the start. Contrast that with Chantal's literal slap in the face right out of the limo, and the hot off the charts chemistry.

I was one of the first people to realize during the Costa Rica date that Em took a leap frog over Chantal to F1 in the edit. I saw it coming and I wasn't shocked when RS changed his prediction.

Oh I think it is real on Ben's part but the way TPTB presented it, to me, seems like it is to fake out the general audience. Or garner some interest in the show tonight.

I agree with you. I think Ed was Jill's physical edit, not Kiptyn (even tho Jill was just all around kind of physical). She was always gushing over "big, strong Ed" too. :puke:
