The Bachelor Canada - Season 2 - FRC - Epi 10 - Discussion - *Spoilers*

Great ITM post with April telling us how the ITM room works on Moorea at the Pearl. She is wearing her sunset beach date dress and is very, very chipper. Whatever Tim told her after the upset definitely made he feel a-okay.

I do agree that Trisha was gracious during the FRC and AFTR and I think other posters commented on the fact as the show was running. That we also commented on other slightly negative things that we noticed throughout the season doesn't mean that how she acted tonight was not noticed or appreciated. That being said, even as she was being driven away after the rejection she made a dig at it being April. I understand that under the circumstances she was hurt and felt rejected but, it was exactly the sort of thing she displayed all season. Nothing horrible that makes people really dislike her, but just something that leaves a question mark in my mind. I do think she was hurt and I felt bad for her. I hope she finds someone who cares about her as Tim cares for April, I just don't think that it will be on the Canadian version of the Bette. IMO there was too much stuff left in her edit for them to be considering her for that.

If the bolded is true, and it wasn't nothing horrible to make people dislike her, then why is she so disliked here? I just don't get that. Why isn't it enough that Tim and April are together without the Trisha digs. I guess I just don`t understand that.

Regarding the Canadian Bette, I do think it's coming. After season 1 they were saying that maybe after 2 bach seasons, they'd do a bette season. I think that who better than Trish...she'd be able to pull off a season on her own. IMO, there were no digs at April, but a dig more at Tim as she's hurt that he didn't choose her. All IMO.

This is were  I see things differently. The way I interpreted her comment was that although she was  hurt by Tim  breaking up with her, she was even more hurt because the reason for the breakup was his feelings for another girl, in this case, April. Nobody likes being jilted for another person and Trisha didn't either.

But that is the show. That is how it works. You break up with one because you feel more for the other. If this had been a one off thing, I would agree with you...particularly under the circumstances...but it wasn't so I still interpret it as a slight dig. Maybe unintentional, but still there. Hopefully, now that the AFTR has finished airing and everything is out, she can move on. She still seemed very hurt while watching their montage and I do feel bad for her. F2 is always a very uncomfortable spot to be in...no matter how gently you are let down.

Watching the final episode part 2 on the site... [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] ... and this moment ... Tim was never going to let April go. He is literally burrowing himself inside her, holding on.

Imo, Tim may have been born in the month of April but April (Brockman) was borne (supported/carried) by Tim.

Not only cause he and Tim did spend time together before the season and after filming, and because Brad is a company man who will of been told what's going on with the season. Sorry if that hits a nerve with anyone, but that's how I see it.

IMO, it does matter as because he is a company man, he went with what CityTV wanted him to say...him having his paycheques signed by CityTV.

I don't think that Trisha is disliked here. I don't think I have seen anyone say that they dislike her...myself included. Most people saw a bigger connection between Tim and April than with Tim and Trisha. Some also commented on some of the things Trisha said cutting up some of the other women. Again, while people noticed, I don't think anyone really thought it was that bad and certainly didn't dislike her as a result, more like they took it as a clue that the edit was showing us she was not F1.

As for the Canadian Bette...I certainly hope they do one. The last two Bachelor seasons have been excellent and producers have done a really good job of finding good matches. While I do think Trisha could pull off a season, I don't think they will choose her. Honestly, more than all the silly faces and making jokes, it was the fact that they left in her farting during the bloopers. I just don't see them picking someone they left that in about. They may surprise me, but I doubt it. JMO

aww waiting for april to resurface on SM. btw the photo posted on yvonne brockman's fb is a different day to the one april's sis posted on instagram. which means tim has spent some time with april's family during the airing of the show, which shouldn't be surprising!

I don't know if Brad was told or not, but I watched the first episode with a guy I work with. After the first show finished we each made a list of who our top six women were. Didn't talk, just wrote our respective lists and then compared notes. While we differed slightly on the last two...#'s 5 and 6...top of both our lists was April Brockman. She was both of our F1 pick from the get go...by far. Trisha didn't make either of our lists.

I don't think Brad was told either. IA that the love story that developed be Tim and April did SCREAM out...literally from out of the limo. Even if even Tim wasn't conscious of it yet. It's like it was instinctive...the "don't go yet". Aww just melt my heart. Show coulda been done by end of their photoshoot 1-on-1 ...if not def by the Toronto date and. Don't get me wrong Trish was great. She was super classy during the ATFR...and as much as being F2 sucks...its bound to be someone. She was gracious about it.

But back to Team TAP-...as rushed as I feel the production was...I was still satisfied.

My favorite moments:
The letter she wrote Tim...I almost cried. I really think that ya April knew she signed up for a TV show but shes still self conscious on camera. She was aware of that so put her feelings down on paper. The letter was super sweet and very April.

2. At the FRC when she says "I never got to tell you the things I Love about you..." I did cry a Lil at that part it was so beautiful.

Despite how the meltdown was portrayed, I think April handled every aspect of this very extraordinary situation with great maturity and honesty. You can't prepare yourself for an experience like that...it was a really beautiful thing to witness their love bloom.

I also LOVE all the extra vids posted on the site and can't wait for the PDAs to start showing up on SM.

BTW I'd also like to thank this forum for making my BachCan experience just that much more interactive! I loved hearing all the different opinions and sleuthing. You guys are all awesome!
