Bachelor 19 - Britt Karolina Nilsson

Britt posts a ton of pictures on IG.

Reading through her SM, she seems like a pretty nice girl. I guess one can be pursuing an acting/modeling career and still be genuine. I will give her the benefit of doubt for now.

It was crazy during the premier because a very important Gold medal hockey game was on. I was multitasking like no tomorrow. This week I want to pay more attention to the ladies, specifically Britt.

She posts an awful lot on IG - shows she is a slight attention-seeker.

Probably wanting to build up a fan base. Self promoting.

Definitely agree. This girl seems the most fake of all the them to me this season. The lines coming out of her mouth don't agree with her chosen life path.

So the show has gone to the extent that now they are actually looking for actresses to fulfill the lead role. OK. Maybe a good move. It beats having a lead that can hardly read the cue cards.

Agree, but heck we just finished watching what happens when the bachelorette spews lines that aren't true. If they do pick her than please let her pick a fellow wannabee and they can live in MF heaven.

I posted this somewhere else but here is my take on Britt as of the first episode regarding her 'lines' and BL:

I used the word affectatious to describe Britt when her bio was posted and the first s/cap of her meeting Chris out the limo. Nothing has changed thus far and if anything, her behavior seems so scripted as if she had a matchmaker telling her how to win the man (wait, did she have one of the matchmakers from 'Ready for Love' give her tips? ).

Case in point:
1) Out of the Limo, first she looks directly and 'deeply' into Chris' eyes in order to establish trust, intimacy and connection... as if following the first steps in a dating book (i.e., First step, look into his eyes directly but softly and make sure to smile while doing so).

2) She then gives Chris that 20-second hug which research suggests is the length of time to form an intense bond/intimacy by releasing oxytocin, the bonding hormone. (Sidenote: I highly doubt audiences would have overlooked her behavior as anything but clingy/desperate as easily as they seem to have if she wasn't as attractive as she is and didn't have her 'free hugs' intro).

3) Her 1:1 times only emphasized all the "How-to-get-him-to-like-you" steps she seemed to be taking. It came across like she was following a rehearsed plan to 'win the man' and it definitely worked. (Her "small town is where it's at" to Chris came across as nothing but a ploy to convince him she was there for the right reasons because she desperately wants to leave LA and live on a farm and raise a family. Didn't come across as genuine at all, IMO, but definitely what Chris wanted to hear that is for sure.)

4) Her 'sobbing' shown in the extended season preview did little to sway me from thinking she was exaggerating her reaction with the extra vocals added to her tears. It just doesn't seem natural at all to me.

Ultimately, I feel like I hardly even know who she really is because of her facade/coming across so strongly as if she is following a script (albeit it may just be a script she is following on her own from reading a 'How-To' regarding dating/love, etc).

Well her condisering Chris as her "boyfriend" when he is dating 22 other women is delusional especially when all we have seen between them is the physical connection. What conversation have they actually shown between them other than he wanted her to know he was thinking of her so he gave her a free kiss card.

In India they've done just that!

If only someone could give Chris a clue. Andi Dorfman's second runner up was completely smitten by Britt after she stepped out of the limo and turned up the charm. He even said on the first episode that he hopes to end up with her.
"Chris was totally falling for Britt from the moment he met her," the source revealed. "Within an hour of meeting, they were making out. He wanted to walk away with her at that moment."
"Britt moved to Hollywood to become an actress. She wants to be famous -- and she knew this was her ticket."
