Yes thanks for reminding us Sophienette . Every F2 is led on - badly. Every single one. It's the name of the game. But they all know what they signed on for.every leads has told their f2, and some more than that, that they had feelings for them...

Ain't that the truth. Nature of the beast unfortunately.

Seems we aren't able to do much more sleuthing from the show until we get some new previews!! Hoping we get good previews on Tuesday so that we don't have to continue with so much speculation.

I understand that in the USA one, that is the case..we only have one canadian one to refer to. Now in the USA one, even though the F2 has been led on, it isn't verbal but emotional and kissing/touching. Not really in the past has there been one told that the lead fell for them a long time ago. That is what is making me feel that there is more to this.tigertiz wrote:Yes thanks for reminding us Sophienette . Every F2 is led on - badly. Every single one. It's the name of the game. I don't understand why you keep focusing on what happened in the one Canadian predecessor season. The franchise is the franchise. Each season has the same basic script but the details are always going to change with the individuals. Were the f2s in Bach Australia or Bach France not led on ? Of course they were! Would you expect every single bachelor to lead the F2 on with the exact same language or phrases? I certainly would not. andy Baldwin used the word "love." Tim used "fell for". The next guy will say something else. It changes with every single lead.

Oh geez. The reason why I keep referring to the only other Canadian season is because the Canadian producers themselves that have specially said that they are an independant one. Not to be confused with the american or Bach aus or Bach France or any others. If we as viewers listen to the ones that actually produce the show, then we would work on that. NOT off of others since the Canadian one has specifically stated that they are working on their OWN. That is the point that should be made. If we listen to the producers and how serious they are on those points, then the only other season to go on is Bachelor Canada Season 1. That is unless it is thought that we should ignore what the producers of this particular franchise(producers of Bachelor Canada) have said???tigertiz wrote:I don't understand why you keep focusing on what happened in the one Canadian predecessor season. IMHO to be fair to the show and what it stands for, if Canada felt this way I wish they hadn't named their show The Bachelor. Goes against the grain and isn't fair to the name that someone had before them. Not trying to step on any toes here, but what's fair is fair. Even in love. ; )

With all due respect, I think the point has been made.

Okay, I just seem to keep being asked why I say that so thought it needed to be answered. Sorry.Sprite wrote:Aunties_Love wrote:Oh geez. Re: Bachelor Canada - Season 2 - *Sleuthing - *Spoilers* - *Speculation* - Discussion #2
So focusing on Tim... other than their personalities and how Tim does or doesn't kiss them, etc, etc, is information that we see or know of are what can be considered, imo, 'biggies' coming from Tim (meaning things he has done/said ONLY with one girl and no one else(that we are aware of) that relate to himself/his feelings:
Tim's biggies with Trish:
1) *shown on screen/more recent to FRC/face to face* = He says to Trish at the end of their HTD that he fell for her a long time ago. He doesn't mention the word 'love' but she is the ONLY one we have seen him tell to her face that he fell for her a long time ago.
2) *shown on screen/more recent to FRC/face to face* = In Italy on their romantic date, Tim tells Trish he is scared of getting hurt in the end. Doing this he shows vulnerability and reveals he is concerned that he may be rejected. It is not just about him choosing F1 but F1 choosing him. (He chooses to confide to Trish in this, the same person he tells on next episode he fell a long time ago after she tells him she is falling for him).
Tim's biggies with April:
1) *shown onscreen and offscreen/blog/less recent to FRC/face to face* = He takes April to his most life-changing spot in TO, tells her he wants to be happy and that he is once again making a life-changing decision and he chooses to confide in her about that and asks her what she considers love to be (unconditional they both agree) and then takes her to meet his best friend and his best friend's fiance.
2)*shown onscreen/more recent to FRC/not face-face* = On April HTD, Tim says ITM that he wants her to trust him and open up and when April does this he says that "in that moment I'm falling for [April] so hard."
In my opinion, these are the two biggies for each F2 that Tim has only done with only one of them (that we are aware of). Stating whether one is more significant than the other based on being shown on or off-screen/blog, usually onscreen wins in most cases and supports Trish being F1. April's blog information of meeting Tim's bf/fiance is significant but to what extent is mere conjecture because it is very unlikely, especially so early in the season, that producers would have shown her meeting them with Tim. Again, the biggies can be argued for or against, these are just mine as relates to what Tim himself has done/said that seem to have the greatest positive reaction in supporting April as F1 and supporting Trish as F1.
P.S. There is always option three and Tim chooses no one. He may, after telling all the girls and viewers that he doesn't want to lead anyone on, choose to ultimately not lead himself on. Hopefully he does choose an F1 and she and he are happy together today. *crossfingers*
