Forgive me for being totally dense, but what would be the purpose about lying about the wedding date? As long as they or anyone going don't disclose the location no one else (paps, fans, etc.) will show up or know where it is. I'm just not seeing the reasoning behind it.

It's Ok that we don't agree! I don't have to be right. TV or NO TV doesn't matterTo me. I just can't shake the feeling that there is more to the secrecy. I could be totally wrong, which is OK too. I know chris and Des will provide plenty of photos and even a video for us. so I am not worried, whatever makes them happy is OK with me., we will know by the end of the month any way.

I was more generally speaking not to you specifically FWIW. I don't understand why lie about the date.

I will take them and TPTB at their words and actions that no filming is happening by ABC.

Because this is the first time that either one of them have alluded to a date which appears to be the 24th. But the very few clues that were uncovered, point to the 17th. CH IMO messed it up for them by saying they are getting married in a couple of weeks. We caught that right away and I tweeted him letting him know we started celebrating he replied we are a little early.

Maybe he thinks the word is out that it's the 17th because of CH's comments, and is trying to sway everyone in order for no fans/paps etc to try and find them on the 17th.

I'm just guessing because the 24th as he suggests and bleu reminded us of all the clues, doesn't make sense.

But like I said, unless someone spills where it is, the paps/fans/etc. won't find them because there are so many options of location in the area. Outsiders would only know where to go if tipped off. It just doesn't make sense in my mind to lie about it. For offense to them, but it's not like they're Brangelina getting married.

No they aren't branjolina, but they are the couple who "wasn't getting an ABC wedding because they were boring" and suddenly the media is interested in their wedding and they have a deal with a magazine so I don't blame them for not wanting any leaks.

They deserve to have their day and I can respect that they want it to be private, so they're keeping details secret\trying to throw sleuthers off.

At least we know in some way they will share their day with us afterwards- pics, videos etc.

It's very possible RS knows more about the wedding details than we do. But for as much of a jerk he is according to some, I very much doubt he would share anything.

Other contestants from the show have gotten photos in a magazine so it's not something that unique.

It's fine that we don't agree. I just don't get the reasoning behind lying about the date. It doesn't compute to me.

FTR, I do believe they are getting married this weekend. I just don't get why Chris would say the 24th. Seems completely unnecessary. He very easily could just not have addressed the date question at all.
