I had to restart my computer to get quote to work, that would have been easier

I agree, those shadows show sun is almost directly overhead ... so happy that our shadow skills can be put to use again! They also use that scene right beside April's greeting clip too, to signify beginning of date IMO

Thanks grace! Much appreciated. So I went back and it definitely seems to be Tim and April jumping off the yacht in front of the Intercontinental/ Opunohu Bay are with the ridge Mt Tohiea in the background. This means that they were in Opunohu Bay in the Yacht. This is  on the other side from Pearl Resort (where MTP and April Upset takes place).

1)Intercontinental Location Tim and April in water after jumping off Yacht with Mt Tohiea in background: Incorrect see other post on this.. it is Cook's Bay as I originally thought!


2) Location for the sunset date/stop for Tim and April: 
- This is definitely NOT from Intercontinental perspective since the ridge in the mountain can only be seen from either Hilton Resort or Opunohu Bay area...(basically any beach where Mt. Rotui is).
-  I had stated Hilton resort but it just as likely can be Plage Publique de Ta'ahiamanu in Opunohu Bay. In fact, the more I look at pics from Plage Publique the more likely this is where it was if not from one of the resort beaches where Mt Rotui is.
- Plage Publique has sailboats, benches on beach (yes), and the view of rigde on mountain (same mountain as Intercontinental located on) that can be seen only from the North-west/West side of Mt Rotui part of Moorea...

Plage Publique by Opunohu Bay looks exactly like where Tim and April are at in the sunset pic (the tree shrub is just blocking the ridge in skyline) Note the matching beach, skyline, sailboats, beach benches, and even the grass in the sand? Looks like a match to me...

Good work Grace & AAL! My next question is ~ do you think April moved hotels to somewhere near Plague Publique de Ta'ahiamanu (PPT for future reference). This will be helpful when we have to sleuth out Part 2 of the Finale.

Based on the sunset SC with April and Tim it is either PPT or Hilton. I first thought Hilton because the ridgeline is an EXACT match.. and I mean exact. PPT is a stretch of beach right by Hilton (next to it) so could be either.

When I had originally found the matching mountain ridgeline, I had googled "beach at Pearl Resort Moorea" & the image was one of them that appeared. We knew it could be down the beachline from Pearl Resort (and clearly it turned out to be quite a distance away). At that time we were only trying to ID it as Moorea. What you have found is much better because it's more specific.

Yes, you are correct Sophie and to be truthful, we don't know if it was her making fun of one of the other girls.

I thought she was making fun of herself. The way she rubbed her teeth, I took it that she was wiping something off her teeth, you know how they say pageant girls put Vaseline on teeth to help them smile

I seem to remember an interview being mentionned where Tim talks about his dream date being on a boat so went looking.

Here are some more pics I found for PPT. It looks like just a public stretch of beach where people can go. What is interesting, if you look closely at the SC of Tim and April you can see there are people walking in background by the benches behind them on the beach.

April and Tim...

If Hilton beach then can think April was staying there. If anything, they could have had dinner at a resort (Hilton for example) and then at sunset walked to sit at beach? I am just not sure how this sunset pic fits into the Yacht date or MTP day. 

If PPT, then she met him there? We don't see any food or anything and it is a very public place (can see people in background) and it is at sunset. They seem to be in more dressy clothes (for an island anyway, he is usually in shorts and her white dress seems frilly). It doesn't make sense to be connected to the Yacht date.

OK.. well I guess I should not trust the photos that are at the bottom of google maps again. AAL- Sorry for the wild goose chase on the sunset SC. I'm still confused about one thing. If they are at that beach with the picnic tables, how is the Hilton involved? If anyone is staying there, wouldn't it be Tim since we've seen April's room? TIA

Oooh. that is a really good thought grace! He could be staying at the Hilton.

The Hilton was involved because of the ridgeline seen in the mountains for the SC between sunset date matching almost perfectly with the ridgeline seen from beach from Hilton. PPT (the public beach) is right next to the Hilton (so in essence, they merge). The sailboats are definitely closer to PPT than Hilton so I don't know why they would be at a public spot at sunset? It's later in the day so maybe before/after a dinner? Haven't figured it out yet since the Yacht date seems separate..

Let's assume this is the LCD from a moment and the sleeveless dress is her FD. One problem was that if all this happened on her FD, the date ended with her in the sleeveless dress. Tim could not STILL be in the white shirt and therefore can't be bleeping in front of the hibiscus.

If she makes it to her LCD, he's got the white shirt on for the hibiscus moment. So Belvedere + hibiscus maybe??

It's tagged as a photo on google maps near Club Bali Hai. Do you think those are GPS tagged and reliable? Where do you get yours from?

I think we should check out Club Bali Hai as well, to see what it's all about & where it is in relation to this beach.

We know the beach they're sitting at is PPT & is near the Hilton, but all that beach does is put them walking in the area. We aren't sure exactly where Tim and/or April could be staying.

And yes, I think Google maps is reliable.
