The interview with the producer at ATR is a good thing to listen to.  He states that they think that season was successful why change it if it works.  Does that mean the edit possibly?

I would think that means the edit. Isn't that a big part of a successful season. By the way, thanks for the link for the producer interview.

When I see talk of comparing the seasons, for me they just "feel" so similar, not in the details of scenes edited but in the big picture.

season one it was clear how Brad was crazy for Bianca and I felt like I really watched their love story unfold. This season it seems clear Tim is crazy for April and it feels like I'm watching their love story unfold. That's the simple link between seasons for me (and I didn't know any spoilers or follow the sleuthing here for season 1, just watched).

I don't think there's any way to tell for certain, but using my super powers of deduction I'm going to say it's April. My reasoning, the girl has dark hair, which means it's either Sachelle, Kaylynn or April. Considering how Sachelle got a very lukewarm date with him, I'm going to assume he didn't seek her out for any other special time... so that leaves April and Kaylynn. Kaylynn was sent home, and I'm thinking he already new that, so I don't think he'd want to be with her for any more time than he had to. That leaves April. I think that seeing as how she didn't get a date where they could spend some time alone together, he took her out for a ride. I went back to the stats of last season with regards to the screencaps:

So if you look at the screencap count, April is lining up more with Whit's stats than with Bianka, where as Trish is lining up more with Bianka.
Now if you take that into account, most viewers aren't so up on stats that us sleuthers, etc are so they will still be thinking April because of the steamy kissing scenes that she and Tim share in the caps.  Meanwhile, Trish only has one.

If you count in the ITM stats, the rose giving out stats, etc....IMO, Trish is lining up with Bianka versus Whit.


Just some thoughts but would like to know what you all think.

I can do the same with comparing Whitney and April's HTD because they are pretty much a match in edit also.....serious questions, had to talk, questioning from family about first impressions and feelings etc.  Just killing some time and thought I would check it out and I was so surprised .... know does that mean the same result no, but in hindsight it just might mean something to remember for next time.

sophi my next question or thing to sleuth is the order of filming the HTDs.  Trisha is shown first but was she filmed first....anyone up to sleuthing that out.....because I think that would be interesting to figure out. I haven't found anything of scheduling or sightings for HTD. I wish the picture of Tim talking with Trisha's father (behind the scene) would have a date attached to it....that would really help LOL

I got to thinking and I think I have figured out the order of the hometown dates.  This may actually help us figure out whether the statements of: Trish: I am falling for you, Tim: "I've fallen for you a long time ago",  IF the dates happened in this order as I suspect they did, then IMO, the comment about Tim regarding fell for Trish a long time ago bears more weight than maybe first thought of.




Here we have Tim in an ITM getting ready to meet Sachelle for their HTD and he`s talking about how serious this week is, note the black shirt that he has on with Sachelle:

I think Sachelle's HTD is first.  Then we have him talking about being excited to meet Sachelle's family and after that, arriving at the airport to meet Sachelle.  Note again, the black shirt.

We then have Tim at the Grand hotel in the same clothes that he wears for April's HTD.  He leaves the hotel and gets into the Silver GMC suburban.  I think April's date is actually filmed 2nd.

Here we have Tim arriving in Wasaga with the sign behind him, the beach, and finally them arriving at the restaurant in the same GMC.  I think we have him driving from Toronto to Wasaga for the HTD there.  It is only 1 1/2 hr drive.

Then I believe we have Lisa's HTD.  We have an on-site ITM.

I believe that Trisha's HTD was last.  We have an on-site ITM from TIm and then one from Trish.  In Trish's she is talking about it being a long time since they saw each other.

This is the first time we get an ITM from Trish in a tropical location.  Here she's saying:  "I love him"

Now this ITM of Tim at April's HTD.  I can't help but wonder if it was filmed at a later time, date, place as it really doesn't look like any other ITM location not to mention how his hair seems to be a bit longer.

Could this be done after the fact and it's a way to show that even though they seemed close then, they aren't now.  What are your thoughts??

This is my first time posting, so sorry I don't know how to bring forward a picture.  Please back up to page 17 of this thread, I think Tim's shirt from April's HTD has more of a blueish tint that the screencap you reference as leaving the hotel for April's date.  
I do love reading all of your posts and I wish I had found this site long before Andi's time as the Bachelorette.

OK, his hair on the April ITM seems exactly the same to me I must say!
As for the location, it matches Wasaga beach. I cant find the exact house but the look, the light that day, his clothes and the vegetation behind him  etc... are all matches.

I think assuming it was done after when it is in the same clothes and outside is a big assumption! ITMs in room with fake decors are often after the fact... this one I am pretty sure isnt.

PLus that ITM was used for a lot more than just the "falling for her" comment, but much longer bits on her letting her walls down and sharing her story.

We saw that he left when it was still daylight, so I'm thinking there was an unfilmed evening portion to that date. That's definitely happened on other seasons where they see each other after the HTD was done filming
