He can either compartmentalise or convinced himself he had feelings for a while. Whatever Sam has said to the media has obviously been sanctioned and today she has come out trying to somewhat salvage his image. They realised they needed some damage control.

So rumors are spreading still about Blake and Louise... Totally wonder if that will come out.
I've heard it on good word he was spotted in Thredbo but could be hearsay just interesting to note.

Here is a media report backing up the speculation:
https://au.news.yahoo.com/thewest/entertainment/a/25221352/has-blake-moved-on-with-bachelorette/
If Garvey is relocating to Sydney it would not be a surprise - he has reportedly sold his car and put his house on the market.
I can't see how Louise 's family will support this with the current angst against Blakey boy. So it seems Blake has disappeared from Perth but surely he should have been spotted in Sydney by now if that's case. I don't see the speculations dying out anytime soon!!!

Just when you think it's a mess, the next day, it's a bigger mess! Yikes!

It seems like it would have been better to be upfront about it like Jason was. Could the fallout have been any worse for Blake? They don't get a lot of time together. He could have simply said that after the finale he was overcome with regret and emotion about Louise and he knew then that he had made a terrible mistake by letting her go. Seems better than people speculating that he's gay, or a narcissist or psychopath.

I feel like Shine is heavily involved. I find it odd that Andrea, Blake's mum actually called out Shine. She said she couldn't say anything or Shine would sue her. I think it's suspicious.

Re: The Bachelor Australia - Season 2 - Blake Garvey - ATFR - *Spoilers* - Media & Social Media Discussion #2
I think Blake went into it for the money/fame and played the game, but got played as well.
- He was told by the producers that the girls were also in it for the money/fame. So, he felt fine with what he was doing. They were all in it, so to speak.
- Laurina said the producers kept him away from the girls once they weren't filming so they didn't see him that much.
- Blake probably got too emotionally confused/invested in the bubble as time wore on. Couldn't tell what was reality from what was scripted. What he says is scripted, what he responded to was more off-script (e.g., when he asks Sam is she concerned about him coming to HTD, and her response, are YOU concerned? You can tell by his expression he wasn't expecting that response)
- His bewilderment concerning Sam "is this girl real?" is evidence of that.
- He was told to propose to Sam, he did. He probably had been told she was still in on it all. He had real feelings but not enough for marriage.
- He literally shuts-off after cameras stopped rolling. He just ran a marathon and he is done!
- He gets his mojo back to make the media rounds, keeps acting on the media rounds, but begins to realise that Sam actually did believe in it all and was not, as he had been led to believe, *in on it* and so freaked out and broke up with her.
- Blake realised that the player (him) had been played by the producers. Not everyone was *in it*. Thus, he fumbles around, cannot saying anything because it is lose-lose situation for him.
As for Louise?
- she is the only F4 girl he didn't cry over when leaving. If anything, they actually smiled. Probably a pact if they are together.
- she is the only one he didn't feel good enough for (in South Africa, he asked if she really knew him, not the rolls royce, fancy dates Blake etc.) Her parents home was real, he knew Lisa's wasn't. Actually money. Would mother him more.
- Told by producers to take "two best friends" to the end: Lisa and Sam (makes for better tv)
- has real feelings for both (b/c in the bubble, emotionally confused what is real not real)
- Sam really does know him to his core, because their similar backgrounds. But Blake doesn't want more of what he has already had... Louise is something totally new and fresh.
- Even Sam says Louise would be perfect for him. Aside from all the gay/bi/unstable/crazy gossip, Louise definitely is more vanilla like him.
Just my thoughts... *shrug*

I don't think he's with Louise as he said he's not in love with any of them. Why up and move just to date someone?
I think the length of time this show had this time is what went wrong. Dragging out lying and faking with people does that to you.

Anything I post means it's Just My Opinion. Don't feel like posting it every time I post. So, I thought I'd get that out of the way.

Wow, this definitely would make sense. Apart from the way he seemed to be falling for Sam much more than Louise and the others - which could just have been his good acting. Very insightful, Allaboutlove!AllAboutLove wrote:I think Blake went into it for the money/fame and played the game, but got played as well.

If there was ever a S***storm in reality TV, this must be it. Just when you think it's done, it gets messier.
Been watching this crap show like forever

More comments from Queen Laurina! Surprised that they actually named her in this article.
'To propose to someone ... and then go "whoops". Does that seem very authentic to you?'
'I think he was trying to get into a career in television,' she said.
