Blake sure is one good actor. In the finale episode when Sam was going on about being heart broken how it might be their last date he had so much love in his eyes. You can't fake that kind of emotion unless you're a really trained actor like Ryan Gosling (taking the Notebook into reference since we were all about soul mate love)

I'm waiting for Blake to give a statement because there is always two sides to the story and I hope he gives Sam some closure as to why things didn't work out.

I never was into this franchise watched Trista and Ryan long ago but never got into the Bach until last year Tim and Anna and then even though I was pretty sceptical about Blake this season the girls on the show made me really get interested in the show and then Sam and Blake's love story just blew me away but if he was just faking it all and didn't even want to put any effort into the relationship after it was over shame on him for breaking not only Sam's hearts but also ours.

This is worse than having a heart attack that Sam will not be F1. Hope she finds someone worthy of her and Blake sure better have a good explanation.

Re the bolded, I remember you calling that out when you were doing the play by play update this morning and I thought wow, this guy really loves this girl. The fact is that he knew how fragile she was, you don't do that to someone, he could have left that show without picking anyone.

In the end, unless we consciously work to change, we are destined to become the very thing we despise or are hurt by, especially in our childhood. In Blake's case... he would become his dad.

And as we know, his dad is someone that promises a lot and delivers little.

If #douchebag is the shock then this is the reason behind it. Sad really.

i do think he fell in love but maybe he wasn't as thoughtful, mature and deliberate about nurturing the relationship and carrying along into the real world as we thought -- if he was telling every girl he was falling -- THAT Is a whole other story and he was just hungry for love from all the girls and that's just a signal for one broken man...and that kind there are many out there.... regarding -- the main breaking point is the way he gave closure and THAT can be a weakness of many esp men who punk out and just take the easy road rather than facing the challenge of being raw, honest and "Cruel to be kind" open and transpartent to give closure.

I do think we kept describing blake as someone who was trying hard to be respectful while on screen -- i do think that's a very big part of who he was during the show and i do think eh was on his ABSOLUTE best behavior -- we picked it out with regards to his concern for how these girls whose family are watching but...but his imperfections weren't showing. i do really feel like he was a bit manupilative to some of the girls during the show and i was cringing a bit inside with the manueverings tho i kept giving him a pass cos i was captivated with how thoughtful and respectful he was... IMO he shamed sam into talking to him on ep 8 ...however we want to talk about it...he used a description of the ideal behavior that shamed her for putting him in the corner i.e. someone who's in it for the long haul would support him and discuss things openly. i felt he also did the same with jess at the end cornering her into professing the love -- he was trying to make it sound like it was HER mistake that he dumped her and she believed him!! remember what she said during the exit in the limo?? she said i knew being honest might have led me to being sent hom - it was not necessary at all how he did it pulling her aside and making her confess and he could have said no to the show if they pushed for it -- it was a way of fishing for excuses and i think production really wanted that fearing backlash - there was an instance during sam's second date where i picked up weird body language from him while describing if she was ready to open up he seemed a tad irritated...his conversation with amber was another the way he worded "i want u to stay and i'm wording that as strongly as i possibly can"...

his ex had said he is a bit of a "sook" that he's stubborn and wants things to go his way..well in any case we've seen him play the situation a few times to his advantage -- all this to say i don't know if we're seeing the full blake -- i do think he was disarmed and vulnerable in the latter stages and did actually fall in love with sam but i don't know how transparent he was able to be with his style and approach ....he was "too perfect" and nobody is perfect -- knowing how to disagree and move beyond that is key to life and also managing other ppl's imperfection

Emusha, there wan another interview you posted, it might be a radio interview where the hosts were basically saying that Osher was always vouching that Blake was the real deal. But I feel like he was mostly himself around Sam, completely unguarded which was why I wanted him and Sam to be together in the first place. He really acted too perfect around the other women. I really liked him the Blake that showed up during the post show interviews especially that interview he did on Channel 10, it was sort of 4 hosts on it, and I even think that was recent, he definitely looked in love to me.

Wow Sam is a strong girl though especially if she still watched that show with girl pals last night and looked really ok to me anyways. I hope she is not breaking on the inside.

i def also felt the same about when sam and blake were togther blake's masks came down... but maybe the way he deals with conflict and arguments didn't come across cos they were in such a honeymoon phase they didn't test out how each other behaves in these tough situations and blake was always catering to her...there were certain cues i picked up from him (and maybe i was influenced by his exgirlfriend calling him a sook) but he came off as manipulative to me...that's not always a bad thing...as long as he has good intentions and gives other people authentic space to be themselves and not to control them... and i can't know cos i don't know the guy but he seemed peeved in some instances when things didn't go his way... in trying to make sense of these things i do think it's a true concern how they deal with conflict...if they're discussing moving and the discussion isn't moving along in a good direction for instance...do they work well with these kind of issues? was all of blake shown? (not manditory since it's not always possible)

Ohhhh but he seemed to be so different with Sam than he was with the other ladies, like he was truly falling in love with her. I don't want to believe that it was all an act and I'm hoping that it wasn't :/
