For Chris it doesn't bug me as much, since he is supposedly ready to settle down with a wife on the farm. But in general, I wonder why these single parents would leave their children for so long to go on a show like this. Emily was my all time unfav as a "single" parent. When you live in a house most can never afford and don't ever have to worry about money or even work a job, complaining about life as a single parent seemed so selfish when I know a lot of single parents who struggle and do without and who can't even afford to give their kids all they wish they could even working as much as they can. Plus, trying to find a support network to get by day by day. Ugh, Emily bugged on that front a lot!

Personally, if the single parents don't have custody arrangements where they can relocate, I don't understand why they are on the show. Unless they are able to uproot and move why go through with this?

She is definitely beautiful but an ex-husband and two kids? That is probably a deal breaker for Farmer Boy. My bet is she won't make it past the first rose ceremony.

Totally agree. I first thought about that with Michelle M and Brad. Brad was never moving to Utah, ever. In that way Renee would have been perfect for JPG last season, just a three hour drive away.

BTW, I wonder what happened to that series Lifetime was doing based on this farce show that had the typical 'character' types this show always has?

Unless the fillee for the quota makes a great crazy cast person=higher ratings, they have plenty of others that can fill the quota. No need for this person.

In order for single moms to keep buying this show, they do.

I think if they are serious--the single mom draw, there are some living in the state of the lead. 
Did they even do a cast call in Iowa? :P

I imagine Chris was asked if he was open to it women with more than one child, so it wouldn't be a huge surprise.  And with his large family, it might even be welcome.  

There was a first nighter on Jason's season with two children.She might have been from Washington state. Sean also had a mother of two from Utah. She left on the second episode. He mentioned that he couldn't see keeping her from her children any longer.

howrealisit! and thanks for the refresher. I was pretty sure there was at least one Mom that had two children but couldn't remember off the top of my head.
