YAY! Glad to hear that Hy and Josh were there for the lobster dinner. I felt that they were but you never see a picture of Hy and very few of Patty. The only picture I remember of Hy was when they met MM.

I am sure they love Josh because they see how happy Andi is with him and see that he is a good man. I am sure Hy and Josh hit it off when they met for MTP. I read that after the MTP dates they knew Andi was choosing Josh.

I think the scenes from MTP were edited to "leave us guessing" - and the edits were successful, to some degree. However, with hindsight, it was pretty obvious that Hy KNEW who his son-in-law was going to be! Love it! Nothing bolsters a relationship like a great relationship with "the in-laws"!

To say I'm excited to go to Athens this weekend would be a gross understatement. I can't wait to hug my baby girl, see my friends, tailgate, DawgWalk, cheer on the Bulldawgs, more tailgating and go downtown. Classic City, here we come!

Looks like the Murrays are headed to Athens! I wonder if Josh and Andi will head over to see them and maybe take in the GA game, or if they will rendezvous in Atlanta after. I don't think Josh's dad has had a chance to meet Hy and Patty yet. It will be interesting to see what they all end up doing this weekend!

One of the things that caught my attention was that after Hy shook Nick's hand after their talk you can see Hy walk away in a different direction. Conversely, with Josh, after their talk and Josh had reached out his hand and they shook hands, Hy initiated a hug and they walked off together.

I'd never find it but I think I also read that. But whether he said it or not I believe that Hy knew - because he knows his daughter and it was so obvious to me how Andi was around Josh. From her "He's really nervous" comment when they walked in (translation to Daddy - "Go easy on this one.") to how she sat with Josh to how she looked at Josh when they were together. There's no way that Hy could have missed seeing all that and I think by the time he actually met Josh one on one he already knew who Andi was going to pick. The edit tried to make it look like it was up in the air but I think if we could have seen all the interactions and all of the conversations we would have seen is was very well settled at that point.

Walked off together talking about East Lake, which is the golf course that hosted last weekend's tournament that Josh&Andi/Kelly&Hunter all went to. Yeah, I think Josh is pretty much Hy's dream son-in-law come to life.

If you listen closely, they are talking about playing golf! You don't talk about shared interests with someone who you feel your daughter MIGHT pick! Smiley

How funny!! I never would have noticed. Really after seeing Andi's adorable and hilarious relationship with her daddy on her htd, it totally would have boggled the mind if she didn't end up with someone who was similar to him or at least fully approved by him.
