^^I don't mean to sound so adamant. Obviously, it's my opinion that it's Becca. If you guys think otherwise, I'm open to hearing why; but right now, I'm not seeing it.

I agree that it is Becca.

Look at the height on this girl, the others are much shorter than Chris but Becca has good height. And I doubt she is wearing heels in the fields.

I forgot about those other sc's, so yes, I'll agree it's Becca.

are we sure they don't travel outside the States until FD's?

Are we sure? I'm not, but we do have some media posts indicating it will not be a typical travel guide type show. The only caps that seem to indicate time outside the US are the FD caps.

They chose the dates to fit Chris's life. He's an outdoorsy guy...so many dates will fit this. It makes sense to not sell the glamorous life to a girl if, in the end, she ends up in small town Iowa.

Then again, there was some talk the other day on an Andi and Josh thread that Chris is open to do DWTS. I didn't investigate this for fear of spoilers. If that's truly the case, however, then I'm not sure he's as sincere about this as he claims. Wouldn't that overlap with planting season? That's assuming he lasts for a few weeks. Maybe this is all baloney. Like I said, I didn't investigate the claim.

Here's some location speculation. I don't know the time frame, so some of these might need to be switched around...but it's the essence. Thanks to mtnlvr and some others, we were able to identify time in South Dakota and New Mexico. Here's, hypothetically, a timeline...

Ep1-3 LA
Ep 4 SD
Ep 5 NM
Ep 6-7 IA
Ep 8 HTDs
Ep 9 FD
Ep 10 MTP/LCD Iowa  Again, this was speculated because all of Chris's family might not be able to leave the farm at that point on time. Sophie sleuthed caps at the beginning of this thread of Chris getting out of a limo at an Iowa Hotel on Nov 22. I forgot about this, but went back to see what else we knew a day or two ago. So, I believe his pick happens in IA.

Again this is all my speculation right now. I'm not sure they would actually spend two weeks in IA filming mid season, but it seems we have individual dates there with Jade and Whitney...possibly Britt...possibly Becca. If those are all Iowa, they'd need a couple of weeks there. I'd need to look back on the caps. Britt's 1-1 could also be NM. It looks like she's in the hot air balloon. This is kind of random, but the hockey game only shows 3 girls with Chris...so could this be in IA also? Because of the small number of girls.

If this season has a surprise F1, that comes out of the cornfield, I will also lose interest quickly. Chris (at least edited on screen) lacks the natural charisma that Sean possessed. And while Catherine was semi-hidden, there was a natural progression that we could see in their budding romance. I hope to see something develop besides what I see with Britt. Otherwise, this will be a long season for me and I'll just be waiting to see the men this summer.

A 3rd date 1on1 bodes well for Becca. That was a good position to stay till the end in seasons of old.

Just a guess, there is a Cinderella date in the earlier previews. It's only minor in the premiere episode preview. We sleuthed that it could be Tracy back in Nov/Dec (see early in this tread). I don't know if that's happening this episode, but it could be. If that's true and since we don't see much of Tracy in future caps, it could be that she gets cut.

^^ Yup - the Cinderella / expensive dates are also notorious for folks getting cut.

In the preview caps with Jimmy Kimmel, it looks like Kaitlyn may get a date. It looks like the shirt Chris is wearing in a limo matches the one he's wearing while kissing her.
