Their date tonight is the one I am most interested in watching. I think he feels pressured with time and does some of the same "all in" emotional investment on that particular date, much as Clare was doing with him. He even mentions "butterflies" in the promo. My vibe is that he gets disappointed/heartbroken as a result because she is not as invested in him as Clare was.

By the way, there is an interesting scene I re-watched when Clare fusses about AshLee to Zack and he pleads with her that he can't handle all of the drama. The AshLee Incident... and NOT the presence of Jackie and Christy in the scenario (even though the former was always his alternative choice to Clare)... was a more likely cause for the key line of "What I am trying to figure out is if we are a great fit for each other"... that, in turn, instigated Clare's Bungle Through The Jungle.

Earlier, he told Clare... and I have to quote it... "I don't play the Gossip Game" and, later, "I didn't come here to get involved with girls fighting about this stuff". Clare was angry that he wasn't fighting AshLee over the insinuation that she and Juan had sex in the ocean, but Zack made it clear that he didn't believe her anyway... and simply saw AshLee as a judgmental gossip. However, Clare kept going on... and on... and on... about it. It was soon no longer about High & Mighty AshLee accusing her of being the slutpuppy she wasn't. Instead Clare was morphing into the angry housewife furious that Zack didn't buy-one-get-one free at the supermarket and she could have used that second can of disinfectant... and it is the principle that counts.

The more I re-watch these scenes, the more disappointed and sad I am with Clare (although I still wuv her!!) ruining a potentially successful relationship all on her own.

Zack reminded me a lot of Sean when AshLee and Tierra were fighting. It was speculated that the former was higher up the totem pole than F1 Catherine in the early weeks, but her intensity with rival contestants prompted Sean to gradually lose interest in her. Even though her hometown went great, my guess is that Sean simply got exhausted by fantasy date time and decided Catherine was the Low Drama woman he needed.

This also makes the editing of episode #1, with no Zack around, all the more interesting. When AshLee was furious that Clare innocently asked Graham on a date, she instantly voice-overed her and Juan "in the ocean" just as she later did with Zack. Obviously neither Clare nor Zack knew about Ash's obsession with this subject since Day 1 until they saw it on TV.

Unless Clare told Zack what happened or what didn't happen in the ocean, how could he possibly stick up for her? Maybe she did, we don't know, but I don't blame Zack for not getting involved with the lunatics. I think Clare blew a potentially good chance at a relationship with Zack if she didn't fly off the handle unnecessarily.

She has labelled herself as "don't mess with Clare" because of JPG's season, however I think it's only hurting her. Especially when she has proven that it's her way or no way or "i'm going to sleep way"

I have to say, this zany show is perfect for those who do not want to THINK when watching TV. I think I enjoy it more than BIP. Do we know if it's been renewed for another season, or is it too soon for them to decide.

As much as I wuv the gal, I have to agree with you folks. Going back through all of Clare Bear's "I want a man WHO..." speeches, I keep questioning "why are you sssssooooo demanding?"

Yeah... Zorro is kinda wishy washy. Enter Jackie. Ohhhhh... boy. Christy also had his mojo going, although I am not sure seeing her all over Jesse with nightcam videos makes him any more hot for her... NOW. Yet he looked like he was willing to stick it out with Clare Bear... until she started getting all feisty over the AshLee situation. His body language changed considerably around her after that scene.

Alas... I don't have much confidence in him with Jackie, but... we... shall... see.

I don't remember, sorry if it's been discussed. Are Codi and Michelle still together? I just browsed through his IG, he certainly has some very nice pics of them, with adorable comments.

Do they go on a date this week?

Spoilers are that Michelle and Cody are still together. I am not sure if they have another date this week or not. Might be too soon for Cody who just had a date card to have another.

From their twitter accounts I would guess that they were together this weekend.

I agree. Claire read way more into Zach's actions and inactions than was actually appropriate. It was a shame he didn't know how to communicate effectively with her and mitigate the situations. They obviously weren't meant to be, but I hope Claire can watch it back and learn a few things that will help in her next relationship.

I'm still having a hard time getting used to this match up, but if they work, they work, and I am happy for both of them.

I have a friend who never found anyone that could live up to her expectations. She was one of the most beautiful girls in college. Over the years, it actually got worse. After she had done everything possible to push them away, she would be angry and hurt that they would stop pursuing her. She never did marry or have kids. By her mid 30's she thought she was too old to compete for the guys she wanted and she seemed to just give up completely. She has an MBA from Columbia and ultimately gave herself no value without a man's praise. She lives with her mom now. Clare reminds me of her in some ways. Both were the baby of the family and had a father that treated them like a princess. Like Clare, my friend's dad died when she was 18 or 19.  Both have sisters, but probably consider themselves daddy's favorite and the most pretty. Clare being a blue eyed blonde in the family probably added to that. Mexican people seem to value that. Another friend, all mexican has one blonde sister. She definitely had some jealously with that. (It's so bizarre how blonde is valued with other races. My son went to China this summer. Blondes are like celebrities there. Complete strangers wanted pictures with him. I heard it's the same way in India) Anyhow, I guess they both got some sort of entitlement issues from their dads and want a man that will put them back on that pedestal so they can feel that special again.

It's too bad she was with Zack when Cody entered the picture because it probably will take someone like that. It's sad that when Clare is watching it back, she still doesn't get it (based on her tweets). He was losing interest in her but she just kept over reacting and making it worse. I wanted her to shut-up, really listen to him and just respond to what he was saying in a calm way. She never showed him that she heard him or cared about how he was feeling.

ETA: JBF- Unlike Ashlee, I was rooting for Clare. She has a fun, bright side too. I don't think BIP will be as entertaining without her.
