It looks like the same wall color and flowers (dried?) in a different vase behind Chris's father in his ITM about Becca. Has anyone checked the Capone suite for the color of the other wall behind Whitney?

Just checked the hotel Julian website and see no bed or daubed with the iron work like behind Chris' father.

Mayber dads ITM took place at their home but TPTB brought the floral arrangement

Well if we're going to use the argument for the best suite, this is going to get interesting as I believe Becca has the better suite for the last episode. If only the FS matters, consider this. I believe the consensus was that Clare had the better FS...and we all know how that turned out.

I believe Becca and Whitney were put up at the Hotel Julien in Dubuque for the MTP/LCD episode.

Another view from TripAdvisor (Link) along with Whitney's cap. I know the lamps don't match, but I don't know how old the tourist photo is...so it may be an update. The curtains do seem to match. The furniture may have been moved around to accommodate the filming. Even if you don't think it's the Premier Suite, it's definitely not the Capone Suite...which appears to be HJ's best.

Ok. I'm not good at capping or drawing circles but hope someone else will help.

Please take a look at that teal-colored pillow behind Chris when he's talking to Becca on the supposed bed.

Now look at the pillow behind Chris' dad. Isn't it the same teal colored pillow?

And I don't see that colored pillow on any of the pics I've viewed of the Hotel Julien.

Is it possible that these photos (becca's and dads) were filmed at another location? Chris' house? Different location?

Looks like the same teal colored pillow to me.

I have this visual image of the interns that have to tote around pillows and vases etc and set up scene for PI's to try to fool us.

I noticed the pillows, too, and feel like they are most likely part of the props that the set production people travel with. They always add their own stuff to hotel rooms, rearrange furniture etc, to get a desired effect.

It's very likely to me that Whitney's PIs were done in the Premier Suite at the Hotel Julien. If you look through the pictures on their site, the wall color is consistent.

This table is a possible match. It's tough to tell because of the angle if the metal legs match. The table also appears to belong in the Premier Suite. From HJ -tripadvisor.





As far as the glass vases, I think there must have been a fire-sale right before Andi's season because they popped up all over the PIs then.

Production travels with all kinds of props... that's why you see the same blankets, vases, bottles, backdrops everywhere.

Some of those interviews have probably been produced after the fact... sometimes well after... to be dropped in. It's not only the lead who has to come back for ITMs.

I'm sort of lost, but while checking out the wall colouring and pillows I noticed it appears both lamps appear the same? (The one with the gentleman sitting in a chair. Maybe we already knew this, sorry if that's the case.)

It could also mean at the time the comments were made, that was the situation at that moment in time.

Before the season aired, perhaps the family didn't know, and that was the comment they made.

During Ellen's segment, by that time the family knew. Just another side of the coin.
