Wow, I am actually more sad now listening to this interview in detail, the interviewer said (not Nick) that Andi appeared icy cold on stage. Why in the world was she so mean to Nick, why!!! Even Ashley was nice to Ben, I wish Andi would be asked that question but unfortunately seems we will never know. The only thing that comes to mind is the plane vid but that should be the reason for her meanness IMO.

It wasn't just the plane video. Josh can't stand Nick and Andi has heard an earful from her fiance. Funny thing is that if the situation were reversed (Andi was now with Nick), Nick would probably tell Andi just to be nice, be considerate of the F2's feelings and to move forward. IMO, Josh just inflames the situation. They will be an interesting couple together!!

p.s. which is why I liked how Andi was with Nick.....he softened her.

Can I just say that I love the Nick in that video! The Nick that is not with Andi! He is going to be just fine, and better off! I am so glad he dodged the humiliation of being with her.

Has anyone re-watched Nick parts of the finale and the ATFR?  I can't but I kind of want to see the dumping scene again since I was like freaking out the whole time and don't recall it clearly.  I totally blocked out the proposal also.

I watched his LCD for the first time yesterday (couldn't get home in time on Monday), and it really confirms why Nick felt so mislead. Andi said yes at the wrong times, and really did reassure him and do her best to give him confidence. She did not have to do that. She could have played it more carefully. It really pissed me off watching her, actually. And I generally LIKE Andi.

ET's Nancy O'Dell sat down with Bachelorette runner-up Nick Viall to discuss his appearance on Monday’s dramatic and controversial After the Final Rose show, when he shocked viewers by revealing that he and Dorfman were physically intimate with one another during their time together this season.

Viall blushingly told O'Dell that their night was not lacking in chemistry.

"I mean, not in my mind…What I loved about the relationship that we had is…how we both talk about our emotional and mental and physical connection, and…I felt good about it, it was effortless," he shared.

Asked if he was still in love with Dorfman, Viall said that she would "always be in [his] heart."

That said, Viall is ready to move on.

"I think Monday night was a lot of closure for me, that I needed. Not necessarily about the question but her whole demeanor and the process…I was just a little taken back by that," he explained. "And a part of her will always be in my heart. She's a great person but I'm excited and looking forward to moving on.”

Dorman ended up choosing Josh Murray over Viall on Monday night's Bachelorette finale, who proposed to her with a stunning Neil Lane ring.

I am a Josh fan but I liked Nick also, I think what happened is that Josh and Andi had heard many comments from Nick especially his conversation with Brian during the show. I also think Josh felt disrespected when Nick was trying to talk to Andi after they got engaged. I think Andi was cold because of what had been said.

I do believe Andi had real feelings for Nick she could not fake it that much. I think as she said her head and her heart were at odds.

I wish Nick had not said what he did, It hurt Nick's image more than anyone else. I know how hurt he was but saying what he did on TV was WRONG. I am sure he will find love again, we all do after heartbreak.

I think he hurt his chances of being the Bachelor because of that statement. I do believe he was being considered, but now many are really upset with him.

Thanks for stopping by. I think many of Nick fans, do NOT want him to be the bachelor, me included. If you click any of the news links in this thread, I think many people are sympathetic to him.
BTW, this is a FAN thread, so don't be surprised if people here don't agree with your post. There's a Nick Discussion thread where all kinds of opinions are welcomed.

Hi readheadmiss, thanks for sharing the sympathy. I agree with sdmom about the bachelor. I don't think his character is fit for that kind of show in the role of a lead, I also don't think that TPTB ever even considered him, I have my reasons to believe why he got the edit he got, which BTW wasn't as bad in total, unfortunately the spoiler video and the lack of promotion from TPTB helped increase the viewers' disapproval of Nick and general negativity. So do I wish he didn't say the things he said? ... well, if that would mean that everyone would love him ... yes, I would say, yes ... but the truth is that there are people in the world who will never find him charming or sexy enough to care, who don't like him (and that's completely their right, because we are different) and aren't even willing to understand his story, and those people he could never please, no matter what he does, there will always be someone who will see some malice, something shady, wrong in his words, actions, look, dress, joke, ...
so why should he need to please them? He did what he needed to do to get a closure for himself ... it was on the national TV, oh well, people have short memory span anyway, the dust will settle sooner than later and the people that matter to him, will continue to be by his side. I really don't see any use for him to "play by the rules" (set by who?) to not offend anyone's feelings, when his feelings weren't taken in consideration just the same. And this is not vengeance talking. This is about giving and receiving respect. (But I'm talking way too much already, so I'll stop)
I really have nothing bad to say about Josh, he has his own faults, but as any person, same as Nick, so I empathize with him and understand.
I don't have any respect for the woman by his side, so I prefer not to state any opinion about her anymore, especially not in this thread.

I love how he explained that he knew she couldn't say "I love you" but he told her her actions basically were saying what she felt.
Poor Nick, anyone could understand why he felt so mislead.
