I don't think Sean was ever "rooting" for Chris to be the bach; I think he assumed because of how the show was pumping up Chris based on his own experience. I think he definitely was for Marquel, if Marquel wouldn't have done BIP.
I do think that Sean's support for Arie is nice though; shows how good of friends they are.

My thought after I wrote my prior post is that Sean is a great friend to Arie. Also I don't think Arie name was in the mix ( at least public) until recently. So please ignore my prior post. I need to think first then write!!

I get where you were coming from! Maybe Sean didn't know that Arie's name was in the mix until it was more public (probably Arie couldn't really tell anyone).

I see where you were coming from too, Barb. You're right that Arie's name wasn't in the mix until recently. OT, as much as I'd like to see him be TB, it may be a done deal with Chris anyhow. But, having this exposure from Sean's blog is wonderful.

It really is nice to see Sean be a good friend to Arie and Arie be a good friend to him, too.

^ I think Arie is doing what he can to change some public perception about him and be considered more like Sean (i.e. doing The Bachelor for the right reasons); hence the push by Sean and the blog post. Plus it does not hurt to be promoted by one of the more popular members of this franchise.

I can't remember when/if TPTB has ever actually asked for public opinion like this but I guess they don't want another train wreck like JPab.

^^tptb asked for a lot of public opinion when Sean was chosen.... except Sean had already been chosen and agreed (sometime in mid-July) and opinions were asked after the b-ette season, just like now.

I would love to see Arie have another turn. He really expressed wanting to meet "his Catherine" after he met our Catherine and got to know her. I see a great romantic season with him. I certainly would love to watch Mr Hottie.
