Andi is obviously happy.
Nick is obviously happy.

I think it is just a play on how often the word "weird" was used this season as opposed to amazing. I remember he even tweeted out during Des' finale, "I am starting to get nervous" or something like that. All hype

Little did I know that the Nick I photographed on a blustery afternoon last November would turn out to be the very same Nick taking so much flack on this season’s Bachelorette. I only recently discovered they were one in the same.

The second or third time I watched the show I mentioned to Katherine that one of the bachelors looked very familiar.

“That’s the guy,” I said, when Nick finally appeared on camera. ” I feel like I know him.”

Katherine looked up and practically spit her water out.

“That’s because you do know him. That’s the guy you photographed on Oak Street!!!”

“No it’s not” I answered.  “The guy I photographed was much bigger than that.”

“It’s him!” she insisted.

Then, to prove her point she pulled up the post I had done last November featuring Nick. Sure enough, she was right. It was indeed, Nick.

For the record, the Nick I met on that fall day was incredibly kind and extremely funny, nothing at all like he’s being portrayed on the show.

Not sure who Andi picks in tonight’s Bachelorette finale, but Nick made it into the top two. Will he get the final rose? Or will it be Josh? Rumors abound so I guess we’ll just have to tune in to find out who’ll be the last man standing.

Wow, do you have any idea what this photo shoot was either about or for?  This woman has such nice things to say about Nick...so glad that you found it and posted it here.  Thanks!!

Isn't it interesting that people that know Nick personally, the real Nick, say that he is incredibly kind and extremely funny?  What stands out the most to me is the "extremely funny" part.  The edit that he was given on this show certainly did not reflect that part of his personality, did it?  If it were not for people posting things here from SM, then I would have never seen Nick's self-deprecating sense of humor.  How nice of this woman to post that picture of Nick, along with her kind words.

I don't know what to expect to see tonight, but no matter what the outcome is for Nick, I hope that he is TRULY in a happy place afterwards - with or without Andi in his life.  I admire all of you here who have been able to keep things positive, and I look forward to coming back to this thread again after tonight.  I am and will always remain part of TeamNick.  He made this season of TB enjoyable for me.  It would not have been the same without him!!

But I have to say -- I just saw the GMA preview in which Andy is going to the black car in the white and black dress - to correct things that aren't right.  Optomism:  - is she going to give Nick some reassurance - are they tears of feeling bad that she is leaving him wondering?   Or is she letting him go pre FRC ?  and all the efforts with Nick were to fool us - for us to avoid seeing the connection with Josh ?  If so I still don't get the edit - she didn't have to say all those things about Nick - and the comments are not at all ambiguous - passionate - once in a lifetime.  I know in the past leads have said things - but to ask a child if she would accept her as a sister ?  A little nasty imo.  I am remaining positive - just too many things that are not adding up.

I rewatched the fantasy dates over the week end and noticed during her voice overs for Josh she says he has the fun loving personality any girl would love (perfect set up to sell him to the next girl down the line similar to the way she said things about Marcus and Chris).  She doesn't sell Nick off with any of her statements. At the island when they are leaving the water you hear Nick say in a PI they have such an intensity and they fit. She discribes him as passionate - once in a lifetime- and says she is lucky to have met him. After Nick said he loved her at the beach she tells the audience that when he said it he said why ...she talks about an adult romance with him, that he sees my heart, my mind, my soul .....most passionate person she has ever been with- says she is lucky to have met him -once in a lifetime what a description for the Great love she was looking for.

Wow, if Josh turns out to be F1!!!!
