Agree, Nutty.  Hated the Staaaaap and the lack of emotion compared to the giddiness with Josh's gift.  Only thing so far that has made me begin to doubt a little.

LOL to the Staaaap!  She may have been saying that all along and they just edited it out after the first few epis... well except for her convo with CH when they arrived in France (the one at the outdoor cafe with the polka dot mug).  It's not used in my region so it really stands out to me.

She definitely wasn't "giddy".  Soon we'll find out who the "real" Andi is in terms of her natural reactions to things.

Agreed her reactions to those gifts told it all to me.

I hope Nick has no questions at the AFTR

i guess i dont understand why we have to put much stock in the preview?. I mean, TPTB always being devious to suggest us one thing to only playing out the contrary on the main episode. It never failed. everytime

They made my Prince look upset being rejected in the limo while in fact he was just being nervous going to FRC. by this reasoning, i am firm in the Smooth Sailing Train :
-Nick has no problem getting Hy's blessing, as opposed to what preview, sneak peak suggesting us *smh*
- Andi 's actual reaction: she is more touche with Nick's gift than Josh, contrary that what has been shown in the snippet *rolling eyes*
Bring on the dangerous awful truth!

I thought Andi's reactions to the gifts and the gifts themselves were very in line with how she summed up Nick and Josh to Chris Harrison when describing their pros and their cons. With Josh, as she said, there is the fun and giddiness and that's what we saw with that gift. It was kind of silly and even goofy but sort of sweet I guess and responded in kind. With the laughing and silliness.

With Nick, she told CH that it's very intense and serious and passionate and his gift was right in line with that. And just as with Josh's gift, I thought she responded in kind. I thought she looked genuinely touched and moved. I can understand some people's feeling that maybe she should have smiled more or maybe wanted more intense kissing but I think it's probably best to wait and see how the whole scene plays out.

Ultimately, I think this just comes down again to what Andi really wanted in the end. If she wanted her giddy comfort that she's been used to, she went with Josh and if she wanted something intense and passionate she had never experienced before, she went with Nick.

Yup Mura. EVERY season.  TPTB know what they are doing with what previews are released. With most everyone thinking Josh is F1 what do TPTB have to lose by showing her "giddy" with him? Of course they will milk that. The type of gift Nick gave to Andi IMO is not the type of gift you get 'stupid giddy' over, it is more sentimental and close to your heart. What some take as sadness in reality is probably more likely a feeling of being overwhelmed at gravity of such a beautiful gift and the realization it is for you. Remember after this gift according to the epi description they give in to their undeniable chemistry.......

It really is a matter of who best embodies the Andi she envisions herself to be in the present and future. Both guys have their merits. I like the fact that they are very different.
