Here's an idea:
The show is produced by a company called Kinetic Content and they have a twitter account. If we all go there and ask for better, more honest editing, maybe? just maybe? they'd listen for season 2?
I already did that and had my tweet favorited by others, but if we ALL do it.... who knows.

Pretty sure you can annual a marriage if you haven't consummated it, even if that article did not bother to list it. That is one of the oldest, most traditional differences between annulment and divorce.

NY law re annulment due to lack of consummation. Doesn't seem like it would apply.

(c) Incapable of entering into married state from physical cause DRL 7(3)

The inability to have sexual relations will be a grounds for an annulment if the condition is incurable, excluding speculative or potentially dangerous cures. Mere sterility will not suffice either.

Either party may seek an annulment under DRL 7(3) pursuant to DRL 140(d). If the incapable party files, they will have to show they were unaware of the condition, or if they were aware, did not know it was incurable.

An annulment action under DRL 7(3) must be filed within five years. Since the five year rule is part of the statutory ground, it must be plead and proven and failure to do so will result in the annulment being denied. Contrast this with an affirmative defense which must be plead or is waived.

There is no right to a jury trial on this ground. DRL 143 specifically excludes this right.

I don't know, I still think Vaughn and Monet might still be married. On Vaughn's personal Facebook page, he has himself as married. I personally think that all 3 stayed married after the 5 weeks experiment but who knows what happens a year from now.

FYI, the "finding the one" statement on his twitter has been there for at least a few weeks. I recall reading it and wondering what exactly did he mean by that.

I think it's interesting and possibly quite telling that in the original version of MAFS which aired in the Netherlands last year, all 3 couples agreed to stay married after the 5 weeks, but that all three were also divorced inside a year.
