Gosh, this rc was so fawkward. Josh looking away, 90% covered with sweat, Nick looking like he had indigestion and clearly not liking that Josh was there. These guys didn't care for each other then and I bet money they don't care for each other now. If it had been Marcus and Josh or Chris or Josh there would have been some time of acknowledgement.

Do you think that was just the way TPTB wanted it to look?  I think they put the guys where the sun was in their eyes so they kept squinting and looking away.  However it did look like Clare and Nikki last year.   

Well they showed their reactions as soon as Josh joined Nick. Its funny because when Nick first meets up with CH he says hello and is silent all the way to the dock. Josh comes and is super friendly, chatting it up with CH while they walk. Josh leaves CH, gets one quick look at Nick at the bottom of the steps and all of the sudden he's get awkward and silent. He says absolutely nothing to Nick and in fact looks the other way while they stand their awkwardly. Clearly, clearly, Josh and Nick were no longer close. And this kind of reminds me of how I began the season. Loved, loved Nick and didn't get Josh. Josh has really grown on me, and I admire that he has shown respect to all of the other guys as a whole unit during this process despite his chemistry with Andi. Nick, I'm going to reserve my opinions.

They could totally have edited out a hello.

Well they both just spent the night with her in a FS. I think the elephant in the room here is did she have sex with both of them? (and for a guy) Who was better? I know if I liked a guy the last person I would want to be around is the other girl he is fooling around with. How these people deal with the format of this show I'll never understand. I think we are far beyond the days of bro-ing out.

Which to me shows that the producers have a hand in editing it to appear as awkward as possible. So mission accomplished again this season!!

You are probably right Alanna.  I think whatever happened in the driveway didn't work for the storyboard so we didn't see it.  Don't ever remember that happening before.

Jef and Emily cut off after he read her the letter he had written for you. Us Jef fans thought maybe it was because the date had gone so late they couldn't really show the end.

I don't think her reactions to either give it away.  I know the edit turned very pro-Josh, but man she was happy listening to Nick talk!

I don't know that Josh got the most beautiful FS, because they didn't show us any of Nick's FS.  Again, no proof of who had the better FS.

Very true, but that could lead one to speculate that perhaps they didn't show Nick's FS room (which is unusual) because it was not anywhere near as lavish as Josh's was, and they were afraid the difference would be too much of a clue to who Andi was favoring.   

It could be because it was really great or really crappy. I am not saying one way or the other. But any assumption that Josh's was the most awesome is purely assumption, since we only peeped through the window of Nicks.

Josh has a track record of being a really happy friendly guy and watching back I personally don't believe the part where Josh joins Nick was edited, it was quite natural.

IMO, I know a lot of things are splice/diced/edited but not absolutely everything. Sometimes things are exactly as is and TPTB are served a tray of goodies they can exploit. There was indeed a point where Josh and Nick were no longer buddies and it showed. Its shows now, actually.

Longhornfan, I feel as though you have read my mind.  I find it hard too to jump onboard the Josh train and gush about the couple's happiness when I see how much manipulation is involved in this.  I even cringed at the look she exchanged with Josh when she gave Nick the first rose at the last RC.  She basically is letting him know that he has got this wrapped up.  I will join you in watching the show until she mercifully lets Nick go and then I too will turn off the tv. I apologize if I offend anyone by saying that I am not a Jodi fan and really don't care to follow their story when the show is over.

I feel bad for Nick but after rewatching that rc, I don't know how Nick can ignore that he's done now? If Andi and Josh could have given him more signals, they really would have just been all over each other imo. Josh grunted/growled at her when he got his rose and the entire meeting her parents conversation was between Josh and Andi. His demeanor is not shy about claiming her, which is what she wanted so I'm down with it too, but I think Nick should have picked up on it too.

In defense of Nick maybe he was remembering Andi pulling his pelvis into her when he said ILY to her. I know that those who only love Andi with Josh think it is obvious. I think she was pretty into both and doing a good job leading both F2 into thinking they were to one. IMO.

I wouldn't completely say it is assumption "Andi acknowledges" that he got the best FD and most expensive or something to that nature just as they are walking up to dinner going into the night portion of the over nites. IMO, i dont think she would say that to Josh if it did not hold some merit by her standards anyway. For some reason she felt it important to let him know he got the best and by past history of the show the chosen one has always gotten the better fantasy date and suite and usually is the last to get there date which we know Josh was last during the filming. TPTB tried to make us think he was second, silly one's
