To explain my previous post that got edited ... during the show, while I was watching, for the first view, on-the-spot reaction was "I got it all wrong, I read everything the wrong way, I have to write it down that 'my version of the story' was only in my head" ... and for that reason that morning (my timezone) I left here very negative comment about the whole episode (and I'm sorrynotsorry, 'cuz you sure brought it and delivered some best comments and explanations on why continuing believing) ... even though I adored Nick, Andi just stepped on my nerves, edit - the splicing was horrible (professionally great, but just disturbing for us "fans") ... in that moment all I saw was black (blame it on my lack of sleep and "impending danger of my friend's arrival" - oh, btw, what a crazy 2 days I had with her... if I tell you that I'm glad to be free to come on this board again, would you call me ungrateful?) ...
then I watched the episode again, everything you said to look closely, I even noticed some differences in Andi's attitude that before I interpreted differently and now those same expressions calmed me and are giving me again hope that what I'm seeing is real, true and deep.
What bugged me the most about Andi's comments of the situation with Nick was the fact that she highlighted 2 "problems" ... and even though I was conscious, that is all for the story, the all-so-needed edit, I believed her ...
but then thinking it through ... recall of previous episode and what she said back then ... it made no sense... so it became obvious, that is all for the story, edit, with no real foundation of concern.

I'm talking about the problem n°1: Nick's parents being more concerned about his heart not being broken again, rather than questioning Nian's fit (I'm just repeating what Andi said) ... when we all know, that she had the conversation with both parents and sisters and they all asked her multiple questions in order to give their approval (which they got). So this whole story of Nick's fragile heart was just a made up reason to address other issue and that is 'how real and important his relationship with Andi is?' - 'enough to say ILY?' (I mean, did anyone count how many times does he say it in this episode?)

The N°2 problem: Nick is always serious and intense (passionate) ... don't know if he can be goofy and silly, funny guy? (again, her words ... somewhere along that script)

TB ... you're selling me this now - at the end - when we all know Nick's tricks, sneak-peeks, self-deprecating, dry humor in deleted clips? ... and it even rhymes ... I have no doubt that Andi had a chance to experience that in all those weeks prior. I have difficulty to believe that she never saw Nick being silly and goofy ... so that it makes her wonder if he possesses the funny side ... like, really? ... Andi? - you haven't met his friends and heard all kinds of stories of how silly he can be? (yeah, I know, TPTB gave you a good script to read)

So yeah, you go and try to find some funny scene from his HTD, with his family, you know, some sort of a clip along the ones out there of Josh or Chris ... but non, no, we don't get to witness any amusing time with Nick, he is shown to be so serious, that the only adorable moment we can remember is his little sister. OK. I get it. TPTB you're not selling Nick's charm. But it's already too late, there are fans out here/there, who actually caught on that charm, even if not so evident.

So those 2 problems eliminated ... what is really "wrong" with Nick for Andi having any doubts?
Or there just ain't any ... so let's create some, just for the sake of the story. Good job TPTB.
Oh, and Nick ... boy, you are amazing-ly genuine, real and levelheaded ... so I have no doubt and fear about you or how this ends for you. Positive.

Yes, made up problems.  Great post up thread.  She says he is so so serious and then he shows up for dinner in wild attire and reads her a storybook that she smiles and laughs with him about  AND then she starts making out with him.

Cecelia, Are u one of those people that believes the plane video is legit?  In context of that plane video, this article does not make any sense at all.  Nick said in the video that when she rejected him, he didn't try to convince her to take him back.  He even went on to state that she wouldn't change her mind ala Jason mesnick/Molly because she is very stubborn.   So after saying all of that, why would he go through the trouble and humiliation of trying to get her back?  I don't believe the Video is legit, and this article to me further fuels my belief that this is all part of a big foiler campaign IMHO.

Because they (TPTB) cleverly FILMED something in his hometown ... to make you believe that that's what might that FOOTAGE be all about ... when in fact ... there is no footage that you'll ever see of him BEGGING ...

then again ... I love this article...

From all that Nick has said and shown during this journey ... it makes it clear that this article is very much made up in clouds.
Maybe the same one reigning over Dominican Republic on that sad rainy day, when Andi let someone go home ... or maybe she didn't.

I clicked it and I would say I don't believe it's true.
The magazine also said FRC was May 8 which is contradictory to what RS and this board sleuthed out.
It said a "source" told US magazine that Nick called her and asked to meet up, which she didn't tell Josh.
Sounds BS to me, IMO.

That's why I thought ... they had to provide him with some photo (if not footage) material ... but just to think how many times they had "gone out of their way" (what an ironic idiom for TPTB) to make things "possible" for Nick ...
I'm not insinuating anything ... just makes you think ...
the order of their dates  ... it was all planned perfectly, so that he was never put in really unpleasant situation, usually he was always The One on the group dates (without Josh or Marcus for the "competition of attention" - Chris really had little chance to not say 'any') .. even the basketball GD, whoever put together those 2 teams, without knowing who would win, made it possible for Nick becoming MVP ... even if he didn't get the rose that time (it would be just too much and complete game over then, beside I actually believe that "destined win on the court" made a big difference in the whole story) ... and perfect timing for his 1on1s (of all the places)

the most natural/down-to-earth date-settings for building real, solid, normal relationship (they were pretty modest with the production of their dates ... I mean biking, hiking, polka dancing) ...

Production also spliced in actual footage of dates into the "reading of story".  I thought this was so much more intimate  than when production does a montage at the MTA.  Much more personal.
