Litta - So true. I watched the first episode of Married at First Sight and was very skeptical of Jamie's intentions for going on yet another reality show. It didn't take me long to THINK that she was not just a wannabe actress. I could be wrong but her interactions with Doug, her tears/panic attack when they first met, her nervousness around his parents and her saying she didn't want to live with a "schmuck" when she discovered he had moved back home with his parents ... good stuff. I just don't think that's all scripted or she's just acting.

I was checking out her Twitter feed today and she's very open in sharing things about Doug that she really likes ... like seeing how good he is with her dog and opening her eyes up to various practices that are dangerous for sea life that melted her heart.

Just like Jamie I didn't find Doug appealing at first glance. However, I now think he's a stud. Seeing him in those swim trunks certainly helped but it was also getting to know him as such a caring, easy going and hardworking man. I am sure it was not easy to do but moving back home for a year, saving some money, finding a new job and learning from his financial mistakes of past were all smart moves ... not the actions of a schmuck!

So, I guess that I find it very believable that Jamie could indeed fall in love/stayed married with Doug and vice versa.

This show is my favorite because it is real. Real emotions and the editing is there but not so obvious as the Bachelor/ette. I am glad it was renewed for a second season!

Aw, love the pics. I didn't initailly think it was going to work but they ended up being my favorite of the couples (although love Jason & Cortney also). Maybe it's because of all Jamie's flaws that she was willing to let us & Doug see. He's obviously not perfect himself although seems to be the exactly right guy for someone so sensitive like Jamie. Just goes to show that it's not all about looks or the type you're usually attracted to. The good thing was she had to stay in the relationship long enough to know the guy inside and he became more attractive to her. I think they're a very cute couple and will keep my fingers crossed for them. 

Lady sure loves her some Doug! LOL

You know what they say, if your pets don't like him, he's not the one.
