I figured he was joking because my father who is 80 says stupid stuff and thinks he's real funny.   Fortunately he's in Croatia until September so we don't have to cringe when he opens his mouth. But I was very uneasy about his comment. Today I get the humor.

It should be "salvo" not seguro.  "Seguro" means sure.  I'm sure JPG has corrected her.  Glad Nikki is learning the language.  It will be a great advantage for her

I have been watching. My husband is half German so I should be rooting for them. They kicked butt yesterday but I would love to see Argentina win. I watched today at work(school district) new superintendent seems ok with me watching while I work. He kept popping his head to see the score. I have double screens so World cup on one payroll and benefits on the other.  :cutesmile!: during the PK time there were 5 people standing around my desk!!
