And his fans ignore that he's no different than the other suckers on the show.

His fans appreciate his humor and don't rush into judgement so that's why we are fans.
Nonfans (the word I want to use is apparently banned) will not change their perceptions of him no matter what.

I don't deny his hurt, but I think if he is/would be directing his frustration and disappointment at someone .. it is/would be at Andi (not Josh, I very much doubt that he thinks of him at all) ... but most of the SM stuff I find to be a response to the people who watch the show and react on the edit ... because there is no other contestant (talking about this season, don't know about the rest) who has more opposite poles ... people who absolutely don't stand him and people who adore him (take good and bad and still like him).

Agreed! If Brian is correct and him, Nick, Chris and Josh were good friends on the show, Nick's taking great care NEVER to mention Josh... tagging the others on IG pics...

you mean "bashing Josh video" ... ahahaha, I still don't see it as him lashing out on Josh (like the way I wrote in video thread - there is no offense in the speech for me and I like Josh) ... he says it like he see it ... he is describing Josh the way he is perceiving him... it just happens to be the whole 30 second of only talk about Josh ... he shows real disappointment with Andi's decision in the other video and if only he would say everything that's on his mind ... he doesn't.

I have no doubt that Josh is the type of guy who can communicate to another guy if he doesn't want him to mention him

I think that's harsh. I think fans will not change to non-fans no matter what too.
I am a non-fan, but not a "the word you want to use" of Nick, and try to look at all aspects. I see the connection with Andi.
I see the dry humour (gosh I defended Courtney during Ben's season!). I see the edit. I do not dislike him. But I also see full unedited sentences that cannot be denied.

I think fans can be fans while accepting he has made mistakes.

I also think that people can be fan of both Josh and Nick while accepting that there may now be a rift between them.

I believe that both Josh and Nick were very much aware to be up-front with Andy ... to not use word "frontrunner" (although I so would) ... they both knew that they are each-other biggest opponent ... and they didn't go attaching each-other anyway ... they had their own things to deal and sort out with Andy. They are both very perceiving and very good reading people kind-of guys. Both emotional, both competitive, both confident, both set in their own way, both insecure (at times) ... so the whole Nick's video about Josh isn't as negative as Josh's fans see it, because they feel Nick bashed Josh ... he described Josh with the adjectives the way he saw him, but the same could be said about Nick (and I'm sure he would say it if you would ask him, he could lay out all of his own flaws - as he is doing now on SM, showing that he knows where he is "wrong") ...
also ... I don't think there was any rift between them during filming, but just aware that Andi's decision would be between them 2, they distanced themselves - one from the other ... the "friendship" had to stop - they were aware to be antagonists.
I think - and it's quite sad - that the fans are making the whole thing even bigger deal and are lashing on Nick for just having thought of having any chance with Andi.

I guess my point is: just because I am not a declared Nick fan, doesnt mean I think he was Bashing Josh.
But,just because I do see Josh and Andi together, it doesnt mean that I can't imagine Josh taking it as a negative and "cutting ties" with Nick. I like to consider the angles. None of them, or us, are perfect. None of them, or us, have all the info.

But let's not put fans, "non fans" and "dislikers" into boxes with labels written in indelible ink.

ah, OK, now I understand your post Sophie, sorry, I didn't get it before. Yes - I agree with you.
And I also agree that generalization isn't fair either. (I personally hate it, but then I'm a "victim" of using it)
