I originally posted in fan thread this afternoon but feel it really belongs here for sluething.

Interesting side note...Chris's twitter has a banner pic of his racetrack dancing date with Andi. Is it odd he would have such a banner (unless he is F1).  Did the powers that be give it to him and why is he the only one with such a banner?  Have others in the past had show banners for their twitter of pics of their date? Did Juan Pablo as the next bachelor have such a twitter banner from one of his group dates (maybe cowboy date) when Des season was showing?  Does anyone know of any other guy's twitter accounts this season with such a banner?Of course Andi has the Bachelorette advertising banner for her twitter. None of other final 4 guys have a date banner from show on their twitter. Marcus has tropical beach banner I presume for the BIP show. Josh has no banner just his football pic. Nic has a banner with a couple of guys as if they are dressed for a wedding. What do ya'll think??????

I don't know if it's odd or not for him to put that banner up if he is not F1. 
I do know it is easy to make the banner(twitter calls it a header). I just did one on my own twitter. All he needs is to copy a photo he likes and download it to twitter and change the "header".

Do we know if Chris actually lives on the farm or works in a larger city nearby?  He is telling Andi in the HTD previews that she could be a housewife, but I think there is more to that convo we hopefully see next week.  At some point, she will realize he is a millionaire businessman.

Well, he lives in an area where the nearest "big city" is an hour+ away. I say he lives on the farm.

I thought the farm was in Lamont, IA but he lives in Arlington, IA (which is only about 15 mile apart) Their farm is very large, and I believe Chris runs the business aspect of it.

I don't understand this edit at all this season! Last nights episode was really all about Josh and Nick. With the dates last night and Nick getting the GDR, they made it very obvious who her top guys are. Why not give previews for the rest of the season? If Chris goes early at FD's what's the point of having all these camera shots/vo's over Chris when he has been shown to have no relationship with Andi? Why not show them over her F2 guy???

Maybe the storyboard this season is the tortise wins the race over the hares. There has been enough drama with the Nick and Josh race with Andi and Marcus professing his love so early to keep the focus elsewhere. All the while, Chris intreagues Andi enough to get the second date so she saw potential with him. Their relationship has been progressing, he uplifts her spirits when she most needs it. The group date in France he came out as her secret admirer and their kisses on the wall when she found out. Then on the group date evening she asks him point blank if he was her husband if he would tell her what was happening with Nick, hmmm.... she trusts his opinion. This week even though Nick got the group date rose she made sure Chris had special time outside the walls of monastary so they could kiss. Then he surprises her at the rose ceremony cocktail party when he says he is falling in love with her. When he pulls her outside to plant the final kiss her reaction, priceless....... way to plant one farmer. His hometown preview shows her saying she could see a life with him but they throw in the line where she asks him what she would do for work and he says their is potential to be a homemaker. The power of editing ha, ha......this is just a snippet of their conversation to raise doubt a career woman like Andi could fall for farmer Chris....remember though he is much more than a hot farmer he's supposedly a millonaire & quite the renaissance man she thought Eric might be.

A couple more...

50.) Episode #7 Belgium was essentially the Nick & Josh Show. The editors threw everything at us to convince there is NO WAY she will choose anybody besides either of them. Yet… there are some *Easter Eggs* of interest:

Harrison’s “get to take Andi to their hometown and meet their family” is spoken over Chris. At least we can be confident of THAT. He also says “the man that gets that rose” over Chris too. Although he doesn’t get it on the group date, he does at the ceremony…

Regarding Nick’s sneaking and grabbing her after Marcus’ date, Andi croons “they should want to sneak over. This is week 7. GO for it.” She later discusses Chris before the rose ceremony “He plants one on me. Like, you GO farmer.”

51.) After Chris called out Nick’s move in Venice as a “jack-ass move”, the start of his group date… in which Nick receives his hometown rose… shows a jack-ass grazing.

52.) Among Andi’s voice-overs in episode #7 involving Chris face-shots include “This is beautiful in my opinion”. Although the monastery is sacred, she left the grounds with Chris for pottery make-out time. “We can be fun and flirty and it is OK there.”

53.) Brian and Dylan may have been dumped this episode, but they said some Chris-ish lines of interest:

Brian on group date: “I am going to have blinders on today. My focus will be just on Andi.” (This comment applies to how Chris is handling the situation.. “I block it out” as he later tells Nick. The blinders also make a nice “horse” reference… a.k.a. Santa Anita… and jack-ass… a.k.a. Nick.)

Dylan: “The ruins stood the test of time and I am hoping Andi’s and my relationship can also stand the test of time.” (Again… this goes against Nick speeding through this… and peddling the fastest.)

Brian’s comment about “the biggest rose” is spoken over Andi escorting Chris away from the group… and the rose that Nick won’t stop talking about.

(OT: Dylan’s “dagger right to the heart” was also spoken by Andi in Verona.)

54.) Not an Easter Egg for Chris, but a pair of Easter Eggs for Nick, paralleling Ashley’s season back in 2010.

In Taiwan (Ashley’s episode #7), Ben Flajnik confidently told Ashley he knew he was getting a hometown date. This proved correct. Nick repeats over and over that he will be “sailing into the hometowns”. That is correct. Unfortunately, Ben didn’t get the girl in the end.

Ashley refused to kiss Ben by an elephant temple in Chiang Mai (episode #5) because it was “scared grounds”. Andi repeats Ashley’s line exactly when sitting with Nick.

… and like last year’s Desiree saying she thinks Brooks “could be the one in the end” over fireworks in Madeira (her episode #7), Andi says she sees Nick at the end with fireworks.

(OT: Andi loves giving Nick and Josh “one more surprise”/”one more thing to do” this episode on their dates. No telling what other surprises/things-to-do she gives them later in the season.)

55.) Not an Easter Egg for Chris, but a cluster Easter Eggs for three other guys.

Nick loves mind games… and plays one while bike riding on the date... and some word games with Andi before fireworks time.

Marcus says back at the guys’ barracks, regarding Nick: “He has always been the first person when we come to a new country…”
“… he dissects what will happen” (camera pans on Josh)
“If he makes it to the final two, I guarantee you he is going to walk.” (back to Marcus talking. Is he talking about Nick or himself attempting to leave earlier and instilling that fear in Andi?) “He doesn’t want…”
“…to be the last guy here.” (Chris listening)
“He has other intentions.” (back to Marcus speaking)
Dylan responds: “And that’s what really bothers me…”
“… I don’t know if Andi knows that.” (Josh shown, responding “yeah”.)

Brian says about Nick, but over Marcus “He’s playing…” and over Josh “the right games”… back to Brian talking “to get to the end”, followed by Marcus shown. Josh responds as if talking about himself: “I’m getting sick of it. Sick of all the game playing and stuff.” Brian continues as Nick enter the door “I can see right through his %$#@”

During the long awkward silence, Josh coughs twice… once over himself... and once over Marcus. Over Josh, Nick says “she’s my priority in trying to make ‘this’ work” followed by Chris “Is she the priority or the game?”

(Back in episode #4, an WNBA player tells Andi of Josh, "He wants to win". Andi looks straight at her: "Does he want to win it for himself or me, y'know?" Response: "That's a very good question.")

One thing is for certain. Like Nick, Josh knew he would get a hometown rose as well despite Harrison telling them the only guaranteed one was given on the group date. Going into the rose ceremony, he grins: “I know the three guys who came home last night who didn’t get the rose on the group date are pretty nervous and that is expected, of course.”

Basically Marcus, Josh and Nick are each playing a game, but what kind remains a mystery. Games, of course, are a lot of fun, but as Andrew once said “This is a straight up competition. This is mono and mono.” Back in episode #3, this trio was either directly or “indirectly” involved in JJ’s attack on Andrew for getting a hostess’ phone-number. Josh was the Grown-Ass Man shouting at him in volcanic fury, while Nick was agreeing with JJ’s accusation... if retelling the tale a bit differently than JJ initially. (A similar situation happened a year before when Kasey and Drew had different sides to the story of what James and Mickey T. actually said in a Munich car.) Marcus, in turn, told us on screen: “What Andrew did was wrong and that’s the fact of it. If the guy’s not genuine, you don’t want him staying tonight.” Chris, however, was nowhere in sight during ANY of that drama.

Over Chris, Nick says “I watched every episode of Desiree’s season.” Did he watch the ending with another Chris winning? He then says: “I don’t know what the hell I got myself into.”

56.) Very weird wording in this line… as if Andi is making a distinction between three guys and somebody else: “Each of the guys that I went on a 1 on 1 date with this week has said they are falling in love… and that changes things. It’s like, I am actually finally dating guys that are there, that are falling in love. Not only are they falling in love, but I am too.”

“… and it is such a bizarre feeling to know that this is the end of a chapter of this whole journey. It is different this week. It is not just… oh, here’s a rose and I’ll see you next week… it’s here’s a rose and I’m going to come into your family’s home.”

Next shot is Chris, the first one she hugs as she enters the room.

57.) More weird talk but I am clueless here: “It shouldn’t be easy at this point. I’m glad in a weird way that this is the toughest decision I’ve made so far” (camera pans on Dylan) “I don’t have a single regret of any person sitting here” (Chris shown) “and that is a real true testament to y’all. So thanks you guys.” (Marcus & Brian, but mostly Brian)

58.) Brian has the last word when he leaves…

“She was the girl of my dreams” is spoken over teary Andi with Josh and Nick in the background.
“I will give my all to the girl that I end up with… and y’know what… I was convinced it was Andi.” (Brian talking)
“If she doesn’t get the guy that she deserves (pan on Chris solo)
“I will be furious” (pan on teary Andi)

Andi then responds “There is a sadness obviously but also this bitter sweet thing about it” (another shot of Chris)
“I am so excited to meet y’all’s families” (mopey Josh, Marcus and smirking-rather-than-smiling Nick)
“Can I see a smile at least?” (This reminds me of the “smile” sign behind Marcus on his date while eating outside with her)

Brian responds with a *bleep*. “That’s great… hearing laughs in the background. It’s awesome. It’s exactly what I want to hear right now.” This line is similar to one spoken by Denver Josh in episode #1 after he was eliminated: “I just... uh... am disappointed honestly. I'm here talking to you instead of being up there with all these guys. I mean, you come here looking for a wife and then all of the sudden you hear all these guys cheering in there and... I don't know... whatever. It's embarrassing, that's what it is.”

59.) In the promos for episode 8, many on this forum made a fuss over Chris’ line (edited for effect, of course) that Andi could be a “homemaker” (rather than a legal assistant). What is quickly missed by viewers is the very next line: “I really saw Chris for who he was and saw a life with him”, followed by "If you love somebody, you’re gonna make it no matter where you live"
