Has a f1 ever met up with a contestant, his neck in neck competition, before the frc aired? I don't think so. I personally feel ok eliminating Chris now too from the running regardless of spoilers. Nick's video and sm snarling with Andi in an epic battle of stupid has eliminated him for me previously. Now we just need confirmation that Marcus is on bip and I will feel that Steve's spoilers have been independently verified by sm and post show behavior as well.

YES - Catherine met up with Lesley during their season. Im not by any means saying Nick is f1 but I don't think its fair to say nick is "SM snarling" without also commenting on Andi's liking of all negative comments on twitter that related to Nick, her blog quoting Olivia Pope and how she is no ones prize and also Josh specifically commenting on Cody and how great he was. I would say all 3 are guilty of SM snark.

Nick fired the first shot with his airplane rant.  He should have kept his feelings about Andi and about Josh to private conversations.    Andi and Josh didn't deserve his snark but he deserves theirs.

Nick was used by Andi and the producers as the sacrificial lamb, she played with him and led him on to the end. Not only that but Andi went out of her way to reassure his family,  and Im not even going to go into what I feel pretty sure was a pre filming setup between Josh and Andi because I don't have pics or videos to prove it.

So on the fact that Nick was thoroughly played by Andi, he has every right to snark on her.

Every lead has to lead people on or there would be no show.  Do you think any of these guys would stick around to get dumped?  No, they would leave by their own choice.  It doesn't make Nick the sacrificial lamb and it doesn't mean he got played.  If he feels he was played well maybe he was underestimating the relationship she had with her F1.

 Did she reassure the family that the process works or did she reassure them that Nick was going to be F1?   I'm guessing it was the former not the latter.  Skepticism from the family isn't a new thing and if Nick's family doesn't get the premise of the show that's on them.  At the time she met them Nick only had a 1 in 4 shot of being picked at the end of this thing.

I don't believe that Nick has any right to snark on Andi.  I think he did quite enough in those videos.  There were 2 other guys that got HTD's and weren't F1 and I don't see them acting like petulant children on SM.

He was hurt and frustrated and it was probably the first opportunity he had to vent out with a loved one. Totally understandable. We don't know how the other finalists reacted because they were not caught on tape with whomever they vented out. The only mistake Nick made was making the phone call on the plane. Nick has been primarily making fun at himself in SM. I don't see anything wrong with that, I happen to like his sense of humor. JMO

ITA and I'd also say that Nick has every right to snark on Andi if he really is the f2. We don't know how it went down & I do have some sympathy for those not chosen even though it's an inherent part of the show. It may be tv reality but they still have real feelings.

I am not sure if I believe that the video is real, but if it was, he was having a private phone conversation, not trying to broadcast his feelings to the world. He had just got dumped and was a little raw. And truthfully, the worst thing he said about Andi is she is stubborn, I wonder if all the Dorfman's wouldn't say Andi was stubborn. As for ragging on Josh, even that was pretty tame. I compare this to Ben's out bursts after Ashley dumped him and even some of his interviews after that . This is pretty mild.

Everyone has favorites and that is okay, but seriously, none of these people have really said anything that nasty at all. I used to watch the Real Housewives series, you want nasty, look that their social media.

Maybe the tape is real but maybe he was talking to TPTB   and they were telling him what to say  . I'm still not convinced the tape is real but it could be. If he is F2 I don't blame him at all for being upset. JMO but nothing he said was really all that bad.

I know about the video, but I will give him some pass because it's just a couple of days after he was dumped. I mean, I don't necessarily agree that he should said those things about Andi and Josh, but I think it's normal for him to feel upset, angry or heartbroken. It's also probably the first time he could talk to his friends/family without the handler by his side, and he was not aware not only people would eavesdrop his conversation, they would also videotape it. Again, I am not saying he's right to vent in a public place, but I personally will never tape someone elv's conversation. Besides, from the part that was being recorded, he never once mentioned Andi's name.
He did UN-favor the tweet! If he was really immature, salty, arrogant like some posters assume, he could either ignore or delete it without replying to nutty.
What else did he do? #salty? Andi said it first on national TV. #winning? Maybe he was trying to assure his fans that he's OK in spite of the bad edit?
I really want to know what else he did that is deemed SM snarling.

If the video is real, Nick did what any F2 would do ... talked with someone close about his experience and heartbreak. It's not like he confided to the stranger sitting seat next to him. And, he never mentioned her by name during call (from what we heard). I bet that he would not in a million years think that somebody on the plane ... sitting in middle seat right behind him ... would recognize him as being a contestant on the Bachelorette, videotape his speaking on the phone and then just hours after landing send the video to Reality Steve. That's just way too cra-zy.

If the video is not real, I strongly believe that Andi was made fully aware of the proposed plan/script to foil the spoiler. What Nick said on the phone is very credible for a F2, which makes sense as they would need to give Nick a storyboard/script to follow that sounds credible.

Also,agree great post Beagle - if I was hurt, emotionally worn out and confused and talking to someone close to me about it all for the first time after being cut off from them I'm sure I'd say some awful things in the heat of those emotions. Nick was pretty mild with his displeasure and overall speaking more honestly (from his perspective) than bitterly to me. I wouldn't have that conversations aloud in public mind you, but still I'm sure it would be much worse than anything Nick said. I thought he had a fairly measured response given the circumstances.

Wouldn't it be awesome to shake up Bachelor and have 3 fan favorites come back to find love for an entire season? Not like Ready for Love or Byron's season when women voted but actually have three guys and one pool of women. Would make for some interesting drama and provide women with more options.
