- Chris contacted Nick first of all the guys from the show on twitter.
- Chris is going to spend the weekend with Nick

SO, today Chris gave this interview which totally throws Nick under the bus.  It's very  uncomplimentary.

Question: how does that work?  He criticized Nick repeatedly then goes for a sleepover on The same night.  
I'm confused.  Is what Chris says controlled by TPTB or is it how he really feels?     Which is real? I can't imagine the article is because Nick will have read it before Chris arrives.  Will he make Chris sleep on the couch?  

Which brings back an old question of why is Chris' twitter profile a pic from the bachelorette as well as his background.  Is he outing himself?

In that situation I think that's how he felt about Nick but in real life it's a totally different situation because they aren't fighting for a girl.

^ Yup. They're all in a very unnatural experience. Like I've said before - they might have disliked Nick's attitude at the time and the attributes RS gave him at the beginning of the season are things Chris even kind of touched upon. Nick seems to have been a bit of a salesman, slick and smug, but that in no way makes him a bad guy. It's clear he had friends in the house and he's still friends with them.

Fair enough.  I do see him trying to frame some of what he says as if it was at the time of filming.  

But by the same token, the article story will have legs while almost no one will write that he feels differently now.  In real time, it's strange to do that before going to visit someone he obviously likes now that Andi isn't available to pursue.

Couldn't agree more! It is such a messed up situation I think both Chris and Nick get that. Some thrive some don't, Nick seems to be very forthcoming and doesn't care to pretend how he feels, I don't think these are the best qualities in this setting. They r taken very differently in the real world.

Even in real life I have friends I just adore but I don't always like how they behave at certain times. I'm just glad they can hang together even with their different personalities.

I suspect there isn't anything in there that Nick has not heard directly from Chris already. Chris very carefully talks about Nick having difficulty in some specific, difficult, unusual situations without ever suggesting he thinks it makes Nick less of a person. It sounds like Chris is just a very honest, but tactfully so, person who long run likes everyone even when he can admit they did not handle something perfectly.

Fair enough.  Obviously they now have gentleman's agreement.   

I changed dates in my original quote.  His interview was today as is the beginning of his weekend with Nick.

I agree that putting guys in the same situation to compete for 1 girl is not going to be courteous after real feelings begin to develop.

I think Chris is towing the company line because he is set to be the next bachelor and now he might have competition for that role. I mean he respects Andrew but didn't respect Nick. Im suspicious if this is not part of TPTB payback for the plane video. There is a lot more they will do to Nick by the end of the season. I can see it coming.
