I don't think it's an excuse for him to say it was because he found his part in that tweet funny. He might have found that part funny, but there's no doubt he saw those offensive parts about wanting to rape Josh and wanting to punch Andi.

In regards to Andi's blogs - I don't take those too seriously. I would bet that if any of the guys made comments like Nick did then Andi would have addressed it in a similar way on her blog. It's not just specifically because Nick said those things.

Also, how does tweeting about Josh's date have to do with Nick? I don't get that. If Josh is her F1 can't it be simply because she's happy they're showing their first one on one together and she enjoyed the date?

people keep saying he gives multiple sm digs - the only one i actually saw was the #salty food which i found hilarious. and more of a dig at himself than anyone else

I keep seeing SM digs being brought up, what exactly are we talking about? He unfavourited the tweet once Nutty notified him, the #Salty and #Winning reference i see nothing pointing to a dig. I'm missing something?

Nick said he didn't pay attention to the punch and the rape parts. That's his word. We can choose if we want to believe him or not. He made a mistake and he corrected it. What else should he do? What do people want him to do? He is not perfect but I like when he realized he made mistakes, he owned up to it and apologize. That takes guts.

Funny I was out walking with a friend and we were talking about SM (nothing related to this show) and how she just randomly "likes" anything that friends post. 
Then she proceeded to tell me how she screwed up by liking something that definitely need empathy/sympathy and not a like. Basically, she was saying she learned a lesson the hard way and now reads the posts before randomly "liking". 
I think a lot of people fall victim to this.

Sincerely apologizing for a wrong doing is the right thing to do--enough said and far too little people doing it.

^ ya I've accidentally done stuff like that too, but I'm just saying that in order to read the part about his hair that he found funny, he had to read the other two parts. He had that tweet favorited for a few days before someone told him about it and that's when he unfavorited it and responded to someone. But like others have said - at least he did that and acknowledged that the favoriting the tweet wasn't a good idea. Props for that.

Good for him for apologizing even if its over a freaking tweet that he did not write. He's under a microscopic eye and people are really nitpicking him. He gets called out and at least acknowledges it and instead of being reactive and defensive, he's proactive in apologizing. Kasha is right, far too little people do it.

Agreed with everything above. The only potential "dig" I have really seen on either side is the tweet Nick favourited. He could have read the whole he might not have, he is the only one who know. Regardless he admitted doing that was wrong and corrected it, they are human.

I agree.  I am quite sure that Nick never in his wildest dreams anticipated that his every word, tweet, instagram or things that he would "favor" or "like" on SM would now be scrutinized by so many people who don't even know him personally, or visa versa.  It is no wonder that many of them choose to not participate by posting on twitter or on instagram, because it can become too invasive.

BUT, I realize that anyone who signs on to do the Bachelor or Bachelorette is considered fair game.  And it is proceed at your own risk.  All bets are off.  But having said that, I do feel bad for Nick.  So, I am willing to give him the benefit of the doubt, since it is all up to interpretation as to what he did or did not mean by any of his SM posts.

I don't think favoriting that tweet is a big deal at all, at least to me. He could have read the whole thing and knew it was meant to be a joke and liked the part about his hair. I'm sure he wasn't endorsing her wanting to do either of those things.
