I hate to sound dumb. But, what are screencaps? And, how do they help?

Not a dumb question!
We see previews of upcoming episodes. We see deleted scenes. A screen cap is a frozen slice of time, think of a freeze frame.
How they help:
When we see previews, we can figure out where the freezed frames or scs are. So let's say--we are shown a sc of Chris with Andi in a field. Someone might figure out that this is his farm in Iowa--so that would indicate a HTD and place Chris in the F4.
This is a very simplistic explanation. In past seasons, scs have been able to prove who has arrived at the FRC as far as F2 or F1 via shadows, candle heights, position of the sun. So scs can be valuable tools. Scs have shown who has made it to FD. During Des' season, we never saw any scs of Brooks after his FD, but we did have caps of Drew and Chris.
I have never seen an instance yet in all the seasons of this show where scs lie. They could. But I won't give any shouts out to the Machine. They can do their own dirty work.

No need to ever feel dumb. Screencaps are pictures that are captured from the previews or during the show. They are posted in the Screencap thread, then analyzed to determine information. Have a look in here to see the amazing work done by the sleuthers. Smiley

I suppose it could go either way. However, if he truly wanted to be on the show because of Andi, you would think he'd pray while waiting to start filming, if it's what God chose for him, that they would be together.
