I'm having such a hard time believing they weren't aware of this list being public. Josh would have had to see his mom and Britt's page to send them a snapchat right? How does he miss the list of people they snapchat the most? I don't know...

And plus, text messages are private enough, something they are most likely more than familiar with. Chris and Des texted each other frequently during airing of the season, worst case scenario was him calling his guy friend "babe." giggling

In defense of Josh, Andi & the rest of the cast, there are a lot more sleuthers than there are cast members. One innocent slip up has 100's of people just waiting to pounce. Once they return from the show I'm sure they try to live their lives as normal as possible and slip up here & there not being expert secret keepers. We need to remember that they are normal everyday people. I don't think there's any reason to call them ugly names or suggest a lack of intelligence. I can say I make mistakes daily but I don't think I'm less intelligent than most. Having a degree or not has nothing to do with this, so I'm confused by the reference.

This is only partially correct. Someone can snap chat you 100 times a day and they will be listed as your number one person regardless if you "snap" back.

I don't think so, it seems it has to be mutual communication.

Oy vey. I'm too involved in this extremely weaksauce scandal now!

Completely agree! With the world of social media things are bound to happen... Not an intelligence thing. If TPTB wanted them not to use social media they would ban it. They don't really seem to care. Gets us all talking about the show and let's us all feel like we know these contestants even more.

Most die-hard fans knew the outcome from RS, and got confirmation from Josh's family and friends. Now from Josh himself. Smiley

The "normal" viewing fan does not read RS and probably does not pay attention to RS. If it makes the tabloids, different story.

Imo, TPTB don't seem to care, and probably LOVE the fact we are talking about this!! :cutesmile!:

Interesting point that goofs can occur even with texts. Similar to what you are describing with Chris and Des, I recall JP admitting that during the airing of the season he was texting Ashley and one of his best friends (who had not been apprised of the outcome) and he got confused and sent the text intended for Ashley replete with I love you and other words of endearment to his friend. Friend while quite flattered with all of JP flowery words also then kept the secret.
