The rose is shown at the beginning of the clip but during it I don't see the rose on the plate. Will have to watch again to be sure.

Yes you are right, they did show the rose on the plate or whatever that was by the candles when it started and then you never saw the rose again. Not on the plate or not on any of the guys.

Dylan didn't finish the date or were you joking? I thought maybe Josh stared it away. He did not look like a happy camper and just sat there staring straight ahead or at something and I'm not sure what.

It's kind of tricky, the rose is first shown on the plate, but it's only the rose in the shot, you don't see any of the guys. Then you see the guys talking and the plate with no rose. But I don't think at that point it's been given out or taken away, because Brian makes the comment, "someone is going to get the rose tonight, and I'll focus on the next opportunity" There as to be more to the "verbally assault" because JJ really didn't say anything that I would construe as an assault. Unless of course they're making it look like it was JJ and it turns out to be someone else.

The whole "verbally assault" in the epi summary might have just been hype. It's like rag mag headlines that don't really match up with the story.

From this clip, they are just discussing whether it's weird to congratulate each other which leads to talk about how they should deal with that. Pretty normal.
