Taking a wild stab, and a quick guess, but I need to check into it further. The hills in the background is what caught my eye in this pic. I could be in the wrong country altogether.

If you look above her right shoulder, the bit of hills that show up there, and look at left hand side of the dormindo Montecristo, it sort of matches. The pier doesn't have a hut at the end like so many other piers I looked at. She's standing at an awkward angel compared to my pic so it's difficult to tell.

chloep stated the FRC took place in Santo Domingo which is the south side of the island. Montecristo is the north end of the island. I know in past seasons, they often travel to other parts of whatever island they are at. This isn't good enough for me to conclude that it's in DR but it doesn't look like the US to me. I certainly can be way off base.
