I hate all this going to find the lead nonsense. It's always so fake and makes no sense. What is the excuse tptb gave Nick to find her? He missed her so much after 10 hours apart?  Nick is way too easily manipulated and didn't have any idea how this show works.

Hi Alanna, others have commented about Nick being led on or manipulated by the producers, and I can believe it to some degree... On the other hand, I don't think the producers got Nick to do ANYTHING he didn't want to do.  He seems very clear on what he wants and is willing to put himself out there to get it...  Regardless of whether he had any idea of how the show works, he seems unwilling to live within the artificial confines it presents... drawing outside of the lines, so to speak... and again, there are a lot of other examples of contestants that have done similarly.  I can believe that Nick is missing her after time apart.  He PIs early in the show that he's thinking of her all the time, when he wakes up, when he goes to sleep... and he also said that he doesn't like to live with uncertainty (in his first one-on-one) so maybe his continuing to reach out is his way of looking for confirmation...

I could see Nick wanting to go to Andi so that he could get some kind of reassurance from her that would confirm (at least in his own mind) that her feelings for him were real.  Right before Nick's second 1-on-1 date with her in Venice, he said (in a PI) that he needed to pull her aside and talk to her because of how things were left between the two of them - after she confronted him about his salty attitude on the GD.  Nick said in that PI that it had been a week since that "talk", and he was uncertain of his status with Andi anymore, and could not wait to talk to her, so that he could clear things up.  Is it possible that it had actually been a week since that "talk" had taken place?

If it had truly been a week since the GD debacle, then I have no doubt that Nick's handler was in his ear the whole time, telling him that he had really messed up and needed to rectify things with Andi.  Nick seemed genuinely surprised when he was chosen over Cody for that first 1-on-1 date in Italy.  I imagine that they let Nick stew over things for a reason.  It fit right into the story that they are telling.

^^Longhorn, if you read the Filming Schedule thread, it seems like GD happened first in real time. So Nick already got a rose and SQT before he sneaked out to see Andi. My point is I am not sure he needed more reassurance at that point unless something bad happened during their SQT?
Maybe Kasha is right. He was bored inside the hotel so decided to sneak out, with the assistance of the producers?

From the episode description posted by MOT in the Episode 7 thread, the chronology is Marcus' date, then Josh's with the group date occurring last.  If that's accurate, I am curious in the name of trust building if Andi would have disclosed to Josh about Nick's unheralded visit - even if it's not shown.

It was sleuthed and confirmed by picture that Marcus' date was on April 11, time wise the filming schedule for Belgium would be:

4/09: travel

Episode 7- Belgium(Brussels)(6-4)

4/10: 1-on-1 Date  =  Josh
4/11: 1-on-1Date  = Marcus Grodd  (the central square of Brussels in front of the Grand Place - confirmed by picture
4/12: Group Date  = (4-on-1)Brian, Chris, Dylan , Nick
4/13: 7th Rose Ceremony
Eliminated: Brian Osborne, Dylan Petitt

ETA: Possibly the order of the dates were manipulated to fit the edit just like for the M&G.

The time stamps for the pics of Josh and Andi's date are April 12.
These are official pics from a freelance photographer in Brussels, not ABC 's pics.
There would be no reason for the photographer to alter the time stamps.
I  believe that the date of April 12 is legit.
Sophienette is also trying to corroborate that info with a video she has found of the goose parade.

The date of the Group date is up for grabs as of now.
Was it on the 10th?
OR was it on the 13th?

Seems the show is being stingy with previews for the end of the season, just like Des (where there was good reason). I don't remember how they handled showing previews of JP's season, though there was nothing to hide. I seem to remember they were stingy with his season too.

I don't follow RS, but does anyone recall if he based his spoiler completely on the Nick plane video, or did he have other sources say she chose Josh?

We had SCs post HTDs for both Des' season and JaunPs also. For Des' we were able to figure out the "real" f2 from SCs and for JaunPs we knew that Clare was part of the F2 and that Nikki was at least F3 (only 1 date on the preview). We did not know that Andi was also an F3 but Litta and others found a time travel SC during airing that placed Andi there.

This season nothing. Big difference. So far nothing in the season preview nor timetravel SCs to place any of the f3 there. They have been super careful.

I am just not sure if the screencap thread is quite ready for this kind of analysis yet.

I am still waiting for Litta to get me that classic shot of Nick's bare feet up against Josh's huge sneaks, while discussing Brian's date with JJ and Marquel (abc.com deleted scene). That one, however, isn't very sleuth-worthy. I just wanted it for my own personal amusement.
