We've been visiting with family this week and I haven't even had a chance to watch last Monday's episode. Trying to catch up a little by reading posts. I'm confused. Am I interpreting this right?

The speculation here is that Nick gets the GDR and extra alone time while the other guys go back to the hotel. The caps seem to show they're mad and have an argument later...possibly when Marcus is on his date. Then Nick sneaks off and takes Andi on a walk outside...see cap.

Logic says it's not because he's worried, right? He has the rose from the GD. So what's the guess behind him doing this?

From the episode description posted by MOT in the Episode 7 thread, the chronology is Marcus' date, then Josh's with the group date occurring last.  If that's accurate, I am curious in the name of trust building if Andi would have disclosed to Josh about Nick's unheralded visit - even if it's not shown.

It was sleuthed and confirmed by picture that Marcus' date was on April 11, time wise the filming schedule for Belgium would be:

4/09: travel

Episode 7- Belgium(Brussels)(6-4)

4/10: 1-on-1 Date  =  Josh
4/11: 1-on-1Date  = Marcus Grodd  (the central square of Brussels in front of the Grand Place - confirmed by picture
4/12: Group Date  = (4-on-1)Brian, Chris, Dylan , Nick
4/13: 7th Rose Ceremony
Eliminated: Brian Osborne, Dylan Petitt

ETA: Possibly the order of the dates were manipulated to fit the edit just like for the M&G.

Whenever I see some of this, all I can think of is splicing and dicing and wonder what was cut out or added in, that is laying on the cutting room floor.   

The filming is done and most of the guys are good friends with Nick.   These are the ones that went with him a long ways, into the process, so I find it hard to believe he was all that terrible.

I'm trying to remember if the others ever knew that someone stole away to see the lead. It would be easy to cover up because the producers pull them to do PI's a lot. The only way it happens is if the producers want it to step up the drama.

I don't remember for sure. I know Arie, Sean, Courtney, & Clare all did it and don't think anyone else knew.
