^^ Excellent post and ITA. With Ash it was game over so early, I never saw anything between her and the others except a fun hearted friendship with Ben. I loved watching her and JP genuinely fall in love but overall seasons are more fun when the lead can maintain interest and chemistry with a few top guys until near the end a la Jillian and Ali, my fav overall seasons. Andi's is shaping up like that. Even though She has jump off the screen chemistry with Josh, she has something good going with Nick and Marcus too and each chemistry is a little different. I like watching her with all 3.

Des struggled to be engaging or energetic on most of her one on ones and later told Brooks how conflicted she was because she wanted to be going on dates with him (sorry Chres fans, but I fully believe that's how she felt at the time). Makes sense why they seem to be sticking with F1 s getting later dates, so the lead doesn't go all in with one person too early.

^^ there is a difference in her flirting between Josh and Nick at this stage. It seems like her flirting with Josh is still in the getting to know you stage whereas her flirting with Nick is a reciprocation of a deeper attraction. I'm sure it will become blurry by her date with Josh when a deeper connection with him will be established.

To be clear, I definitely feel Andi is attracted and very interested in Nick. It's not fake. In some ways, I wouldn't be surprised if she picks Nick, but I just get a different vibe when I look at those pictures.

It may be as simple as Andi was just reconnecting individually with Nick after a long GD of BB, whereas, with Josh, she had spent the whole day with him and this was dinner during their 1-1. That could make for a very different dynamic between her and Nick/Josh for those caps.

^^ Litta why don't you compare through screencaps of both their group dates bc I don't think you can compare a gd to a 1on1since we haven't seen Josh's yet.

I've lost track of the thread we said to put BL in...so I'm posting this here. To me, Andy looks less guarded with Josh than with Nick. Josh's caps are from the episode 5 preview and Nick's are from their GD alone time in episode 4. She looks flirty with Nick...like she's still trying to reel him in. Anyway, those are my initial thoughts, but I love to hear from others.



Btw, I went through my caps for Marcus and Chris and I, apparently, didn't take any similar to this for them. Since we get a rerun this week, I may find some time to go back and re-watch so I can capture their interactions. Is anybody interested in that? Because, frankly, I'd rather not waste my time...but in the name of fairness, I will...if people want it.

I see a difference, but admit that might come from my dislike of Andi. With Nick she seems more open and warm. I feel like she is constantly testing Josh. I get that Josh is her standard type, but that isn't his fault. It reminds me a little of how Emily was always making Arie prove himself. I hated that behavior then too.

I agree. I was thinking today that with Josh, he's pretty much laid it all out there already and he's very "gung ho" about this. So Andi gets to sit back and be skeptical before she jumps in head first. With Nick, she's going to make him "a believer" even if it kills her. She doesn't get to be skeptical because he already is. She's still in convincing mode with him therefore any little nugget of hope he throws her way she happily eats up. I also agree that it reminds me of the Emily and Arie situation, being skeptical of their normal type, and in the back of their mind wondering if will be like every other time it didn't work out.

We were just trying to figure out who it was. Personally, I believe it is Chris(especially with his shorter haircut now) and it might in epi 5 group date with the blue-ish background that the group date is at. She wears a turtleneck then and her hair is up as it is in the blue sc. On that group date, there is no Josh so that would eliminate him as a possibility.

Since we went bonkers last season with the lead groping all over his F2, I wonder if any of this matters any more. Yet... if we view each contestant as a Possible F1... maybe we can learn something.

The scene that bugged me with Nick was on his date, close up of their faces, when she looks away from him before they kiss each other as if she is distracted and suddenly remembers "Oh I have to kiss him now". Also the basketball kissing was odd in the way it was shot. So much of Nick/Andi looks awkward to me, but I don't want to get his fans all upset with me. Just because I am struggling with this pair does not mean they are not a successful pair and Nick can't be F1.

Although she SAYS she is most comfortable with Nick, she LOOKS more comfortable with Marcus, Josh and Chris than Nick.

I really like her with Josh, but one detail I am noticing. He loves to talk talk talk talk and is talking talking talking talking himself into thinking she is as gaga over him as he... talks himself into thinking... he is. They clearly are relaxed with each as bro-buddies. It has often been said that an "average" woman wants a guy who makes her laugh and Josh certainly delivers.

She looks more "herself" with Marcus and Chris. I know so many here don't see "IT" between her and Chris, but that date had a ton of interesting body language. Just not in-your-face make out sessions that the viewers seem to want. The scene with her laying out his shirts stood out to me. No, she did not kiss him... on purpose, no doubt... before she left him, she still resembled a "wife" in the way she hugged him before allowing him to get dressed. Watching her with Chris makes me think of a "married" couple, although I can't place my finger on why exactly. The way they were talking about Santa Anita reminded me of a pair of tourists (a.k.a. the other Chris and Des in Munich with "our" trusty guide book), who are already rooming (and doing other "stuff") with each other at the same hotel while the kids are back home with the sitter. Also her PI sessions about Chris are ssssoooooo different.

She clearly has strong feelings for Marcus too, going by her body language. (In fact, when she mentioned having "feelings for more than one", Marcus and Chris were the two I was thinking, not in-my-face Nick and Josh.) Just as Chris is accused of looking too "friend zone" and "there is no way she will move to Iowa", Marcus gets accused of simply being "the hot one" (a.k.a. chemistry edit). Yet she doesn't kiss him as much a she does Josh and Nick, as if she doesn't feel as much pressure. (If it weren't for the "soilers" telling us otherwise... and the Nick Vid too many are taking seriously, I would say Marcus and Chris are the two she wants Daddy Hy to meet.)

It occurred to me earlier that if Chris is to get put back in the running, TPTB will bring his date/story to the foreground during Monday's recap of the season. If they don't, Chrandi is toast in my book. Nothing against Chris personally, but it won't be believable to me that he is F1 if his story doesn't start getting built up again.
