hahaha, I can understand why some people feel Nick's a sleazy salesman who tired hard to say only what Andi liked to hear. I still feel he's romantic though, along with his non-date card and flowers   Didn't his family friend said he has a wicked sense of humor? His tweets definitely reflects that!

Part of the scepticism regarding authenticity about the things you mentioned I think is because it is a tv show and people have written poems and notes (not lists or secret admirer letters but they are in the same category)
before. Does that mean Nick or the "secret admirer" are inauthentic? I don't know. Did Nick watch the show before? We know that Josh and Chris have. Has Marcus?

I'm not sure what people define as romantic anymore. I know I don't think roses & chocolates on Valentine Day are all that romantic because it's not unique to me on Feb 14.

Since we have nothing really new, I'd love to hear what you think is romantic. Let's tell stories. Anyone?

May I say because my DH doesn't write me poems or buy me flowers so I think Nick's romantic? LOL!(but I love DH with all my heart!)
Seriously, I think it's the fact that someone will take time and efforts to do something extra to please another person that touches me. Sure, all these things can be producer driven, but Nick still had to take some time/thoughts to do it, right? Besides, it's more romantic than the cliche: "Andi is the most amazing woman in the planet""I can't wait to kiss her""We have the amazing connection". Someone mentioned in another thread that in his Q&A, Nick said he likes his date to tell him 100 reasons why she loves him (paraphrase) and I think that's what Nick tried to do in his "list/note/poem" to Andi. He still didn't say he loved Andi yet, mind you.

Just thought of something that's probably nothing: why was Nick flying to Milwaukee and not Chicago after filming? He lives in Chicago now, right? I would have thought there are more flights to Chicago than to Milwaukee. Was he going to see parents first? Like I said, it's probably nothing....

He was flying back on Mothers Day, maybe he wanted to have a quick visit with his mom?

I'm sure this has been figured out but it just occurred to me. During that recorded convo on the plane he was telling someone about Josh. But who was on the other end who would know who Josh was or even care? Why is he referring to Josh by name rather than as..."the guy Andi picked"? It just seems odd to me given that at the time it was recorded ABC hadn't even released the names of the contestants. I'm quite curious to know who he was talking to. Could it have been another contestant?

I don't think it was another contestant as they would already know Josh and have their own opinion of him.  I think it may have been a friend from Chicago.
