It really is perplexing but could simply be his exit vid.  He's literally turned his back to the silly idea of this process. His feeling were real and his talked to real friend, instead of facing a camera, about his breakup. No more ridiculous ITM's. The real friends he made from the show are already in touch with him because the are aware of the vid and what it means.  It really was a great group of guys.

It does sound to me that he did fall in love with her thus was surprised that what he thought was her reciprocating his love was in fact false.  He's on a plane.  He needs to contain himself.  He can cry when he gets home and for as many days as he needs to afterward.  
He says that he didn't try to convince her.  I think we'll likely see him take the rejection calmly.  The shellshock will hit him later when he's already off camera.  He said he told her he disagreed.  That may be literally all he says followed by wishing her well.  Totally anticlimactic for this show.
This is likely the only exit vid we'll ever see.

That's my weird theory for the day.  Team Nick all the way, in his real life and the pursuit of real love.

That being said, if Andi gets engaged to Josh then they will have the great love they are looking for. Why not.  That would just mean there are better matches out there for Nick and everyone else on the show.

There doesn't have to be a villain.

notarose, I love what you wrote about Nick's intimacy with Andi in Josh's thread, can you move it over here? I also love the scene in the casino after Nick said something and Andi purred "l love hearing that" and Nick replied "I love saying that" , that's Big Time flirting !! I also noticed in their 1-1 date, as you have mentioned, they got there at 9:15 for the dinner and still there at 12:30. It was a long dinner! They must have spent a lot of time talking, getting to know each other. The date by itself is not as exciting as Eric's from beach to mountaintop, or as glamorous as Chris's all dressed up, but it gave them a lot of time to get to know each other and be intimate.
Another point is as someone already mentioned somewhere, look who the lead is chasing, but another poster mentioned it's different with the bachelorette. Look who's chasing the lead. For me, as of now, it's Nick who chased Andi, the non date card, the flowers. I used to think he's shy, but now I think he's, like you said, uncomfortable with the camera, but he's a confident man, and knows how to make women feel special.
I am really looking forward to Andi's date with Josh. I want to see how their relationship progresses and if she would pull away from Nick. Interesting that Nick got another date in the very next episode. Maybe she wants make comparison? Can't wait for the next two episodes.

Realistically,  how many people would even think to post such trivia on twitter if they didn't want to make a point?

I understand that Kasha. However, in Nick's case, this current style of tweet is VERY different than what his tweeting style was like prior to the show.

Those prior ones were factual, stat-like- about work, adverts for work and the Brewers, etc.
These are totally different.

Not saying that these tweets say anything about Nicks placement in the Finale.

I don't doubt the spoilers, but that doesn't mean I'll like Andi best with Josh. At this point I by far like her best with Nick. Everyone talks a lot about the obvious chemistry between Andi and Josh, but I see just as obvious a chemistry with Nick after her wrapping herself around him when he sent the flowers, the way she smiles at him and that really quite hot casino scene. I feel like in the end I'm going to wish she picked Nick and that maybe he'd be best for her, even though I don't think she will. Maybe she will truly be conflicted until the end and then as Nick said on the plane videos, she was scared and went with the more familiar, easy choice.

The bolded could be possible especially if she's pressured to have an engagement at the end of the show. Andi said several times that she likes to be in control and at the end she was being pragmatic and chose the one better suited to her lifestyle post show.

^^^I know it would have been for me.    Their 1on1 times together have totally made me smile.

See, I really like Josh and think he is smitten, but Andi always seems to be questioning him and testing him.  It is starting to remind me of Emily with Arie.  Maybe it is my bias.  I look forward to their 1:1 to see if Andi is softer with him.  I like the way Andi is with Nick.  I think she is hot for Josh, but other than her kissing him parts, I haven't liked her with him.  

I think she picks no one at the FRC.  If she picks someone, it will be Josh (as seems to be the case from the Nick plane vid unless it's a ruse) but they have to stop showing the kinds of scenes they are showing with Nick because there is a lot of intimacy there.

At the courtyard dinner she was stroking his fingers while he was talking similar to what he was doing with her in the casino scene. The dinner started at 9:15 then at 12:30 they are at the tower.  Why were we shown the clocks? Up on the tower he is either whispering in her ear or kissing her neck before she rapidly turns so they can smooch.  When they are facing each other to kiss she reaches up with her hand to touch his face or neck but his hand moves hers out of the way and he holds her face/neck instead.  This is a man who knows what he wants and she isn't shying away from him.  What the heck happened on that hike that got them to this point so quickly?  
Back at the casino, his hand travels from her hip to her bare thigh then he rubs the inner side of her leg with his thumb.  This time he is the one who plays with her fingers (it seems to be their thing).  Edit cuts to them squeezed into a tight place and she is shown twice grinning like a Cheshire Cat.  Like was there no where else to stand in the casino.  I actually think he is still uncomfortable with the camera.  What's gonna happen when he's not?  They'll probably just show lots of convo because ....

Really, it's as if her body is his canvas.

Now this would be a physical edit except they do have conversations. They have great bits of convo even in little cocktail party times.  None of this "your so beautiful" , "I want to kiss you" stuff.  Instead they just do it, kiss, caress, talk about their last date or how he felt on the group date.

Oh, and THIS is after he has been on 2 dates (a 1-1 and a GD). And, there was that scene outside the doorway with the flowers/note where she wouldn't even wait for him to take off his jackets before drawing him in.  It was like he had arrived home from work and she just couldn't wait any longer.

I have no prob with Josh being F1.  I just think that following his 1-1, the edit should tone done the showing of her intimacy with Nick.  Intimacy is a lot more meaningful than a bunch of kissing and the F1 doesn't need to see that.

I think there was an intimacy with Nick, and I think that is why he was so caught off guard at the FRC. He said on the video "I think she changed her mind at the last minute". We are not imagining it, it was there.

It should be interesting. 
His choice of words: "changing her mind at the last minute" and then comparing to Jason/Melissa/Molly's season and then that coincidental airplane video showing up at just the immediate right time and to the right person, all makes you want to go hmmm. 
Jason's scs doing a Mesnick said it all; he let the wrong girl go. 
So I am going to watch the scs, watch the feet, and hope some one sends me a photo like they did Jason's season clearly indicating what happens.

Interesting you brought that up- what if she chose Nick but then chose Josh?? Although i think he'd be way more upset if that happened.

Didn't Chloep say something about hearing something that sound like sour grapes to her before the famous video....That Nick was very skeptic of the process but Andi basically lured him in and reassured him and only end up choosing someone else......Correct me if I am wrong wasn't that before the video?

95% of the time the lead knows who they're going to pick before the final dates so it could have just been his handler convincing him he was the one..

^^ Yes I think that was the information she gave. And ^ yes, I think the handlers have a lot to do with it. I think I remember Jason and Molly saying in their podcast about this.

Wasn't it also said Nick got emotional at hometowns when he saw his friends? I feel as though they brought Nick to the f2 for entertainment and because of how emotional and upset he would get.
