sophienette wrote:It's funny, I can find good reasons for all F3 to be F1
Lisa: least but quite compelling, i.e. her interview. Set-up? Also Sam's IG comments that she is team Lisa...
Louise: best fit on paper, that SC where they look so content, etc... plus some things Blake said in interviews that match her well
Sam: the necklace on IG, counter balanced by most of her SM behaviour which seem to try and convince all she isnt F1.
TBH, the reason i feel it has to be Sam is simple: we always say "look who is chasing the Bette, look who the Bach is chasing..." Blake has always chased Sam, insisting to talk to her when she was throwing a tantrum and refusing to talk to him when the new girls came in for example.
here are some note I jotted down when watching HTDs last week, the voice-overs/ITMs as Blake was saying goodbywe at the end of each HTD in particular:
- Louise: her speech to Blake at the end of the HTD felt exactly like that, a speech. Almost like an ITM, saying all the right things.
- Sam: the only one not showed kissing Blake as they met at the start of HTD (that threw me). Blake saying " our life together"
- Lisa: " a possible future together" ... not using "us" but pretty close...
I have to say to me Sam is still the one I see for Blake, and I think we need to remember that what we see might not be the full truth... remember the "trust" issues with Josh and Andi... the jealousy with JP and Ash... i think the insecure/not opening up from Sam might be editing related.
Or she would have looked a lot more worried at the last RC IMHO.
Regarding all the bold...these are REALLY good insights!! Thank you for posting them! I am just nodding, nodding, nodding in agreement.
The whole 'conflict/doubts' scenario?
1) Blake and Sam: have that but it is coming from Sam (supposedly?) she has reservations/conflict that he is dating other girls (about the process rather than Blake himself)..........
2) Louise and Blake: if anything, doubts coming from Blake. Louise has no reservations/no conflict.........
3) Lisa and Blake: if anything, doubts coming from Blake. Lisa has no reservations/no conflict.........
Regarding Lisa: this ties to your comment about the "scripted" goodbye between Blake and Lisa on the HTD... which I absolutely agree with.
Blake says that "for the first time I could see a future with Lisa" Umm... the FIRST time? This late in the show on HTD for the first time he sees a future?? and then we are supposed to believe he proposes after 1 or 2 more dates? No way.
With Sam, not only did Blake see a future on the GROUP yacht date, he said to Sam, "IF this ended tomorrow, and it was you and I"....
See when Blake says this starting at 12:52
He then, on numerous occasions, specifically their Fairy Tale date, He says that he has , "To be honest, I've pictured a future with US."
I find it interesting that Blake and Sam mirror each other's language... both used the phrase, "To be honest" when speaking to each other...
I also found it odd that the intimacy was so played down between Sam and Blake (even sitting across the table from one another). After sleuthing and seeing photos that this was not the case (you can see all the screen caps in the Screen Cap thread) it validated what you are saying, that the producers definitely wanted to downplay their level of physical intimacy. It is also why I believe (as you can view in an interview video I posted on the Media thread) that Blake keeps referring to Sam as just funny. Trying to make it seem that nothing too serious is going on when in reality the cat was out the bag in Episode 8.

Sundy wrote:Gosh. How long is Wednesday taking!!!! I was watching Sams HTD today again and it struck me that Sam and Blake are each other's missing piece. Blake never experienced a large family and obviously enjoyed the experience and SAMs ideal man will possess the same qualities as her dad had. I'm assuming because her two younger brothers have a different surname that the man that was her dad was not her birth dad. Thinking this, the level of love and respect she has discussed in relation to him you can assume that he must have been AMAZING! Sams apprehension now makes perfect sense to me. She is looking for one hell of a guy! She also knows the pain of loosing someone she loved completely and is protecting her heart from that until she knows she is right. I think we are in for one exciting week. I just hope that the producers don't obviously give away the result in the final ad on Wednesday night like they did last year. All those candles in the ad for Anna and not a single candle for Rochelle.
You are SPOT on! I saw that from the get go and spent forever analysing Blake and Sam's personalities in this thread and what makes them different with each other. Blake brings out the more mature/serious Sam and Sam brings out the more boyish/vulnerable Blake. Both of these traits are the parts they don't show often and are not who they are around everyone else.
Anyway... you can read my whole analysis on this earlier in this thread.
It is as basic as meeting a need more than a desire.
Blake needs Sam. He might desire the other girls but he needs Sam.
When in doubt I always go back to Episode 8 when Blake, needy Blake, pleaded with Sam to stay. That settled it for me. F1= Sam.
Starts at 41:44 ... watching it again makes me 100% realise that if I was there and Blake did this to another girl other than me, I would have just packed my bags and called it a day... Game over.
For Sam, Blake being with her family was it! Love your insight on her dad probably not being her biological father.. thus making sense of her comment "he raised me". Either way, he was something special!
For Blake, I think watching her "The Life of Sam" home movie on their first date was it for him. He got to see so much more of who she was, how she was raised, and how similar they have it (both loss, absent father for Blake, loss of father for Sam). When the new girls and Sam wanted to leave, Blake was forced to show his cards. He couldn't let her leave so his feelings were exposed for us all to see (as well as the poor girls who had to witness his pleading for Sam to stay).
Ooooooh, so excited for Wednesday! I hope they let it on it is Sam. I cannot, cannot take any suspense anymore. Plus, this way I can just enjoy seeing the proposal rather than freaking out that it may not be Sam! :hidingchair

Usually episodes of the show are uploaded a few hours after the original airing on tenplay.com.au (which, unless you have a browser extension to access blocked sites, you can't really access it if you're not from Australia) but you can also watch it on watchseries.lt or YouTube. Luckily, Aussie times run one day ahead of the US, so you'll get the episode on Tuesday. (Which is so lucky because I always have to wait one day extra to watch my favourite TV shows!)
haha that's one of the reasons i love watching aussie shows! cos I get the show in the morning of wed and thurs (US time)!! rather than having to wait till evening many of these sites upload the videos within an hour after the show airs...

I picked out two things that stuck to me that made me think of this... in a preliminary interviewBlake was asked to described what love is...
he said early signs of love - "when your breath catches in your mouth a bit and your heart starts to speed up and you all of a sudden forget what your name is..."
I do believe there are several times where he described what he has with sam is what would have them both "lost in the kiss" I do also think he and jess had that when they felt like they escaped into a bubble together...the difference being imho with jess the chemistry creates a fog/cloud of disorientation and attraction while with sam i think they both become more intimate and exposed ...i think they each push the other to peel off their masks with each other not only because of the attraction but because of the chemistry that's beyond physical as well
I think Blake is an emotionally intelligent guy and what he described as "losing yourself" while with someone is an intangible thing of feeling unselfconscious/free/invincible/fully vulnerable but also happy -- so far I think his mask comes down while with sam...and used to with jess cos the attraction caught them unawares... i would even say the trappings of life weren't primary to the mind while with either them but where as with jess they never got to the point of discussing and taking it to the next level cos they got lost in a fog of attraction (jess admitted as such in a recent interview where she said they got so distracted every time they'd meet that they wouldn't even discuss serious things)...with sam i think both of them become exposed as their true selves so they share certain desires in life and connect to a point they both naturally progressed in that direction...and both wanted to take it to the next serious level ...blake was pushing sam to commit to him by exposing her feelings (gosh the guy wants her to tell him she loves him SO badly ) while sam was pushing blake by saying "i thought last week we'd gotten to the serious end of the stick" when she described her discontent when the intruders came in...
in either case I do think Blake might have KNOWN with Sam hence what he said about how he feels about here being different from anyone (on their second date) -- I'm a bit split in my reasoning here about Blake possibly having the feeling of knowing sam was it early on and hence setting it up for her to be more open and pampered and even trying on rings with him and exploring the appeal of the other women... the only reasoning that works to make sense of these two things is that sam was his undeniable connection and he HOPED she would love him/want him back (which he only got to find out about after that bachelor pad conversation with lisa present) but I also think blake through life experience knows that LOVE IS not enough and that all the things around it also help make it work...up till that point he was sensing it could be sam with the deep emotional connection and was trying to push it deeper with jess... the other ladies also gave him the option at the life he wanted and the appeal being strong enough and love not being enough he continued to explore...i think he was smart/practical/have gone through diff relationship enough to realize that there's a chance sam might not have been ready to fully let go and be in love with him and jess not ready to build a life with him and so i think he moved forward. when sam told him she was falling in love...things changed a bit and he started going for broke (big risk + big reward -- though it could be argued he was already doing that by giving her so many dates and roses which the other girls can obviously see) ... I think all of these things will be unveiled slowly if not in the coming episodes then in post season interviews
i'd said there's a chance he used rhetoric with the media by saying he was exploring with multiple women and kept an open mind thrughout and it not exactly true -- i think it's truer than I originally thought but mainly i think cos he's ready for a life long love and if the girl he wants isn't and can't give him the love he needs i think he's mature enough to know that he has to walk away. i think we'll continue to see the complexities and unravel them as the season closes...
anyhow all this to say -- there are multiple sides to this story and i do think the appeals were there from multiple angles...the question is will blake follow his heart with several unknowns/unexplainable connection(risking heartbreak), follow his mind and build a great companionship or follow his mind + desires and build a family -- want to add one last thing that I do think he's ready for committment and building a family and what he has with the ladies I think with each of them can grow into love even if it's not instantaneously making him forget his name...that's my humble opinon..i think with sam he's not in control -- he's falling and it scares him...with the other ladies i think he is walking in eyes wide open and i do think he can see himself happy with them....
Gosh emusha... just re-read this and wow!

Re: The Bachelor Australia - Season 2 - Blake Garvey - *Sleuthing* - *Spoilers* - General Discussion -
So I posted a bunch of photos and videos and lengthy comments on media/interviews/articles in the SocialMedia and ScreenCaps with some very um..revealing posts on Blake and Sam.
thread... https://www.bachandbachettefans.net/t2621p108-the-bachelor-australia-season-2-blake-garvey-sleuthing-spoilers-media-social-media-discussion
Anyway, to lighten my heaviness...
I was thinking that for Sam, she keeps giving Blake these little challenges/hurdles he has to meet before she fully commits.
She says she will fully commit if things go great at the HTD. They do.
So she decides to give Blake another challenge. Funny enough this is the FIRST request she asked of Blake when he asked her what he can do to essentially make her commit.
1.) Get rid of the other girls, was Sam's FIRST comment. Then, she said okay,
2.) when we go to HTD and I see how you are with my family then I can commit.
These are the TWO hurdles Sam had. Blake passed the second one.
So he has to get rid of all the girls to pass the first.
Will see if can accomplish this on Thursday. Haha...
-------------------------------------------------------
There is a part of me, if Sam is F1, just based on some of the photos I saw on Lisa's instagram (which I posted on the social media thread for Blake) that makes me wonder if most, if not ALL the girls essentially became actors on the show? Except for Sam.
It is totally plausible given what we have seen and if Sam is the one Blake proposes to it wouldn't surprise me if this is the case.
Four months, though short, is a looooong time to be dating a LOT of girls and still be falling for the same girl from the get go with all the other girls vying for your attention and no other distractions. That is a HELL of a lot of temptation and yet ... still falling Blake?
Yes, I can totally see Lisa and Louise playing a part/role scripted by the producers.

Re: The Bachelor Australia - Season 2 - Blake Garvey - *Sleuthing* - *Spoilers* - General Discussion -
Okay, I am going to bring it up...
Why no word of an After The Final Rose special???!!!!
I am not sure if there has been an announcement that there will be one or won't be one but it is very late to not have announced it - ESPECIALLY considering there is a proposal!!!??
So, that leaves a lot of questions as to why?
I have a horrible thought... and one I am going to entertain for the sake of entertaining and stressing ... if Sam IS the F1, and she DOES accept Blake's proposal, why no After The Final Rose episode?
The only way, based on these conditions, that there is no ATFR is that something negative happened AFTER getting engaged. Which is a strong possibility given that Sam could have watched the show and seen Blake making out with/kissing other girls (especially Jess). Or maybe she found out something he did with one of the girls that she was unaware of that was unforgivable to her?
Is that enough reason to break off an engagement? Maybe for Sam it is and she broke it off with Blake recently and wants nothing to do with him? It would explain her social media behaviour recently (if not interpreting it as coached to mislead) on how supportive her family is and how thankful she is that they have been there for her through the hard times.
Also, it would explain why she said the best day of her life was spending times with her lifelong friends. Some people speculated why she would say that considering Blake and if she is the F1, but one needs to consider what happens AFTER the proposal. I don't see 100% Sam saying no to Blake. It is possible but I am SURE they would have discussed this before he got down on one knee.
So unless there is a ATFR something or other then it is really up in the air.
For Lisa or Louise to be the F1 and there not to be an ATFR episode, or interview or SOMETHING, tells me that they cannot be F1 since, especially Louise, says she is ready for marriage, and Lisa has too. (Whether we believe them or not). Both of them don't strike me as likely to be upset with any of Blake's behaviour on the show (genuine or coached) as Sam would be.
It is just very, very strange that there is no word of anything about Blake and his F1 meeting up again in public right after being ENGAGED??!
So either
--- a rejection of a proposal
--- The proposal is totally staged/fake
--- A proposal is made, accepted, but then later broken off
--- TB and his F1 want privacy in the real world
--- Osher doesn't want to interview Blake since he really never did on the entire show (Blake essentially ran the show through narration)
Again this is pure crazy speculation solely based on something I do not yet know. If there is a post-FRC ATFR episode or it is part of the Finale on Thursday then most of this doesn't matter.
Just playing devil's advocate.

Probably something is going to happen when he gets down on his knees to the F1? Probably he will say something else aswell as "Will you marry me" and no I completely disagree the relationship is still going fine! Blake said in an interview that he is still with the one and he can't wait till he can finally talk and hang out with her so I think all is going well with Blake and the F1 btw why is Sam acting very, how should I say it.. Total opposite of the F1??! She is partying in bars and everything gets me second guessing that she is the F1... Hmm we will just see I guess and I definetly think they will be a after rose episode due to the F2 & F3.. They need to ask Blake questions and everything.. Fingers crossed that happens hahaa can't wait to see his repliess lool

Channel 10 have not announced much in advance. We didn't know about the WTA until they showed the preview for the next episode. If it's similar to last year I think the ATFR has already has already been taped. I have wondered if Blake and Sam had a fight when she posted on IG or maybe he was with her friends that day or maybe some secret shoutout.

I really think Louise's father talk with Blake especially the part where he asked Blake how he let girls go and requesting if Louise was let go that Blake explain to her why, was interesting and must be about something that has happened to Louise in the past. Also think it didn't demonstrate a high degree of confidence from her Dad that she would be F1.

Has Louise done many interviews?
Anything I post means it's Just My Opinion. Don't feel like posting it every time I post. So, I thought I'd get that out of the way.
