Next week on The Bach, the girls head off to South Africa and Blake gets engaged and I feel as though we jumped forward and missed some MASSIVE steps.

sam does have a flare for the dramatic/full on gutso & enthusiasm with instagram captions...dunno if they're always 100% accurate vs a way to make a point. in either case i think overnights must have been huge for a proposal to ANY of the girls to happen.
in any case i think that instagram caption might be one of the clues that  she's not F1. the ladies she was with also said they can't wait till next month for a repeat
she also did another caption which said when she's going to sydney to crash at sarah's place and bringing chantal with her next time -- if blake is thinking of moving there would she have said this? is blake planning on moving to melbourne first then if its sam as F1?
ETA: mercieme you make  a great point about sam possibly throwing ppl off with her captions & insta posts on purpose esp if she felt the necklace-gate was her mistake!

Final thoughts before I sign off for the night. Did u guys notice that Sam's fairy tale dates have been taken down from the Facebook page? Also the VoiceOver from Blake in the finale preview says the ring describes the journey him & the F1 have taken. IMO only the relationship he has with Sam fits the description of a journey. Also if any of you guys are able to make a screen cap of the ring that Sam tried on during the fairy tale date; it will be good to compare the cut of the diamond with that of the proposal ring. My memory is telling me that they are the same square cut & a bit similar (not similar pricing though!!!) but not completely sure. Thanks to Emusha & Norcalgal for all the nice screen caps from earlier.

Niccy77, @anth851 is one of Sam's best friends & also works at BMW with her. I got this from a comment Chantal posted on Sam's Instagram that she couldn't wait to meet @anth851 & another girl. Apparently @anth851, the girl Chantal mentioned & Sam are best friends.

So I was analysing Louise's and Sam's insta since Lisa's is private. Bothe Louise and sam have started posting pics on the same date after their stint of not being insta.

Yeah I'm a bit jobless will be until I know who the last girl standing was.

I just want to know who won! I thought the Anthony thing might have been a clue. I had a look on the BachelorAU facebook page last night
and notice that someone said Sam is dating her friend - but I can't find the comment now........ Know anything about that one?

laurina also commented here...seems like anthony and sam and this other girl which sam posted a pic of saying she's her roommate/bestie have been a trio of besties for some time and chantal is looking forward to meeting them....and to clarify what Sam does Anth works at BMWHQ he apparently got a nice bmw car from his work as well... ANother girl mentioned on there also working at bmw works in advertising, he works in marketing...so clearing up what sam does for a living...

OMG i totally just had a random thought (based on the coincidences in timing) -- I think maybe someone else had mentioned something related before in this thread ...but I just realized in context of the proposal it makes sense in a whole other level....could their visit to bunda jewelers have been a disguised ring fitting and a way to gauge her preference and style for a ring so that she'd like it?!?!??!?! I mean he could have brought the jewelry to HER couldn't he? even if she was picking a few and wearing them for the night? I mean how strange is it that they'd spend that much time at a store when he could have done the same thing with jewelry in a highly decorated luscious space with lindt balls, rose petals, macaroons etc....OR even simply done the pampering type of thing as he did for chantal but in a different way.... i'm sure the production intern could whip up a better idea than hanging around a store (hanging around stores is actually NOT something they've done in this AU variety at all even when they travel - also i'm sure they could figure out a way to put something on hold to guarantee that the jewelry would be returned...) AND blake was there when she could have easily been "pampered" by the store people and producers to pick whatever jewel she wanted...

Would the ring fitting be better done with the professionals there... anyone know how ring fittings work?

oh and on a related note -- one thing had really stuck to me about how he said goodbye to amber and it's timing...he told her "that feeling that you get when you KNOW - i didn't with you"  I wonder if he DID get that feeling...maybe even that week...which was strangely enough the same week that he went on his 2nd date with sam and told her he can see a future with her and that "how i feel about you is different...to anyone" so the work after this point was to figure out if she could reciprocate -- and here it's VERY obvious he chased her really really hard when she gave him very little back and other girls were much more upfront about things

and once she did.....could he have started thinking about a proposal after she told him she was falling in love with him??? again the timing for the jewelry store visit was immediately after she opened up to him.

one last thought to connect the dots (this bit is a bit flimsy but i'll share anyway...) -- blake has been insistent and totally adamant that he gave every girl a fair shot and every date he was in the moment that's been his WHOLE shpheal (how strange is it that would he push this same line over and over when it actually makes him sound like a bit of a jerk who wanted to taste every flavor particularly when he openly admits that he's a one woman man generally speaking? bit strange) -- could that be producer generated rhetoric to counter the reality cos it's better to hide what actually happened rather than have him be seen as the "pashelor"?? i.e. he actually felt that sam was the one after their second date and he was just needing to figure out if she could feel the same way to him back...going back to his comments about if she was ready for a life together for him -- obviously this would reflect negatively on the show and blake so they'd want to counter it as proactively and directly as possible...??

anyway with this line of reasoning i'd even go far enough to say blake had real serious feelings of falling in love only for Jess and Sam but he was still open to "dating" someone else and so he was openly exploring the other relationships if things didn't work out and "big risks don't pay back big rewards" with Sam

Her first date was amazing but then the edits made her out to be someone totally different.

Interesting that In her interview she says Sam should be the one.

Kudos guys for giving such a good insight. I really enjoy reading them. It is what I look forward each day during my free time LOL!!!. Now, I would like to share my thoughts on this show.

Lisa: (1) White Jacket with Black Top. Blake holding her hands.   (2) Black Jacket  with White Top, carrying a child in her hand. (3) She was wearing the same black colour jacket with stripe balck and white patterned top- where she said to Blake that she wants him to be the last man to bring back to her home and – where was crying and saying she is emotional.
Sam: (1) Black Jacket and running to Blake (like it during the night) maybe on the way to the boat to eatch the whale as she was wearing a black jacket too. (2) Blue jean like material shirt on the boat with Blake (looks the sky is clear).
Louise: (1) White jacket and Black pant (on top of the mountain)
(2) Louise, I could not see her dress, I bet it must be the FR formal dress that is why it was not shown. But I could see Blake’s suit which is Greyish or Bluish sort off colour similar to the one where he was seen proposing. This scene must be on the FRC.

I believe that F3 is Sam, Louise and Lisa, where Lisa will go home. The F2 are Louise and Sam (this coincide with rumours seeing them at the airport together talking about being relieved that the filming was over and missing the mansion).  I said this because when Blake hug and put his head to Louise, he was wearing grey jacket same colour as the one where he wore during the proposal. This means Louise is in F2.

What we cannot see is the F1, it can be Lisa or it can be Sam!

I think they mixed the episodes up to confuse the viewers. Yes I do agree that Louise was teary when they were hugging and she said something like “it is I want for me, all or nothing”, do not know what that means though. I do agree also that for Blake to propose he must have thought about it long before. This proposal would only be logical for him to do if he has gone through the process of really getting to know the girl and not merely on the last dot as in the case of Lisa (But I may be wrong though, based on what laurina said, there was chemistry between them behind the camera).

Many reasons I feel that it is Sam (I do hope I am right or else I will be heartbroken too as I love this girl very much). Sam's feeling for Blake and likewise Blake for Sam I think grew steadily from the first red carpet meeting to the first date which he said was all about her. The second date after the date crushers came in (the first girl to get the second date). Sam is the only girl who has been on most of the group dates, especially the important group dates like Kindy visit (Blake wanted to see the maternal side of the girl, she did not fail like Alana did, though Blake noted Lisa was the most comfortable with the kids, but Louise was not in this date), Bach Bake off (to see the cooking skill of the girls, Louise, Lisa and Sam was in. I know the girls all got their tips from Louise but only one girl admitted it, and acknowledge Louise’s contribution, and that is Sam, Lisa credit all the goodies to herself which I find not a good act on her part). I think Blake has seen the honesty and humbleness of Sam there. Sam was the only girl who has three dates and the last one was awesome, fairytale date which is very mesmerizing and moving to watch. Blake said that date will be all about us. It showed how love has blossom. Someone in the Bach Au social media mentioned that it was the night when Sam wanted to leave and Blake went on a panic mode and wanted to talk to her so much, which has already indicated his strong feeling for her. I think he is right. That trip to Bunda to loan some jewelry was just a cover up too. I did not see the ring as really the same. The one she was asked to try was sort of round but similar pattern. The engagement ring was kind of square. I may be wrong there. The journey to love that Blake mentioned very appropriately fit to his journey/relationship with Sam, there were ups and downs. There were not only honey coated relationships and events.

Even if she was picking a few and wearing them for the night?” I think Blake wanted it to be a special occasion in which is part of it hence, she has to be also involved. Seeing how romantic he has been, I am not surprised at all. He did mention that in all the dates, he suggested what he wanted to do and the producer just added a few other things to complete it. Listening to the number of times the word love being spoken by Blake to Sam and “I am falling for you”, and if my memory does not fail me, I do not recall he said that to any other girls. He said he could picture a life with them, a complete package and that sort of things. So I think this indicates that he is in love with Sam. I do not think he can easily switch to Lisa who has only begun to open up lately. It will show his insincerity in his quest for love if he is able to switch that easily. I think Sam will be the F1.

I am really hoping that I am not wrong.

hey guys! decided to come here since the people on facebook can be incredibly obnoxious and i got a headache hahaha. i'm completely blown away by the fact that he's going to propose. i know that in the US version, proposals are very frequent, but it's a bit strange to see it here! also, i feel like the girl he proposes to might say no and just choose to go into a relationship with him? who knows.

if you look very closely at the photo, you can see the girl's finger with red polish... i think sam wears red polish?? idk haha. anyone here wanna be a hand sleuth? xx
