I also think that this may be a function of Nick's personality style.  To me, he seems more emotionally contained maintaining what looks like on the outside as an even keel.  Early in the season when he was confronting Andrew about the woman's phone number, while he seemed a little agitated, he spoke very clearly without his tone escalating  Even when he was being confronted by the guys he didn't show much emotional affect.  

I appreciate your use of "emotionally contained" because as one who shares this trait with my father   
we are sometimes read as being aloof.  Perhaps that falls into the "aloof" definition however aloof to me has connotations of being somewhat emotionally removed and that would false.  Rather, it is just second nature and comes from the desire to articulate feelings as concisely as possible in order to be understood in a way that hopefully keeps the interaction from hitting a wall.  Nothing is suppressed or "unfelt".  I see signs of this in Nick and recall Andi saying in an ITM on the mime date that she felt Nick may have "downplayed" his disagreement with Cody.  He may have or it simply could have been seen by him as an oversight he made and once Cody brought it to his attention they were able to get clarity.

It's possible Nick views life as taking control of the things he has control over and trusting he is able to manage the aftermath of that which is outside of his control.  If that is true, he is operating on hope with a measure of preparedness for otherwise. I'm glad that up to this point he believes in this relationship because it allows him to experience the wonders of love and every time that happens it enriches us.

I think it depends on the context. If she asks him what he sees in his future and he says that they will be married then that makes sense. Or who know, maybe he just knows

If the video was real, I think Nick acted "normal" for the situation. I could see both my sons acting the exact same way. It's a guy thing. He isn't going to be crying into the phone on a plane. He is a bit defensive, which again, is 100% normal in that situation.

Hi, #bandofsaltysisters!   This morning I feel so much more at peace that if Nick is not f1, then it's not meant to be. I am really thankful he posts so many interesting tweets so we get a glimpse of his true personality, and many of them are really intriguing!
When I go to other threads I can't believe why some people will bash other constants just to support their favorite. So, let's stay classy and not be negative towards others while defending our boy. Sorry about being preachy! But try to follow our boy: live in the moment follow your heart have a chocolate malt (or whatever your heart desires) !

so, on behalf of that 'certain someone' im gonna say this: It Aint Over till Its Over!

That being said, i honestly dunno which one is worse: him being a dumpee or him marrying Pookie..:P :P. If she really wanted to end up with him (note she chirped about it on each of their 1-1 dates) the homeygirl should stop being a drama queen! just chill Meandi!  :halo:

I think we can all, regardless of what happens at FRC, take comfort in the fact that Nick is doing well and has a lot of family, friends, and fans supporting him. I still think he is F1 but I will not be disappointed if he is not. I don't mean to preach here but I believe that when things don't work out according to our plans, God has something much better planned for us. It is really a win win situation for Nick.
