What exactly did MF do to foil Des' season? I know someone mentioned that both Des and Chris were in on it, but I'm wondering how involved MF was?

Multiple reliable sources, not just RS, were repeatedly assured by their sources that Brooks and Des were engaged. When scuttle butt started because of the lack of screencaps with Brooks in Antigua, those sources again reassured people that Brooks and Des were engaged. It happened to the mods here as well as RS.

I think that might be why their is a lack of SCs this time. TPTB almost messed up in that way last season.

Des and Chris never mentioned anything. They are good little bachelorette soldiers! laugh out loud

We as fans just speculated that they did because we saw the connection she had with chris. This was up to GREAT debate and lots of angry posts. Don't want to rehash.

The video came out right after Nick got home. I have always believed it was real. Hugesmile

Not going to change anyone's mind now.

JBF were you talking about her little PI about Chris where she looked like she was going to cry? I just thought she was getting pretty emotional about him, more so than she expected so maybe more surprised than sad. She sure looked like she was trying to eat his face out there in the corn field or whatever field that was. giggling

Thanks, I guess I'm wondering if MF was so hell bent to actually go out of his way to "foil" everyone, what makes anyone think he isn't doing it again this season... he'd only get better at it with experience?

Max, I am not convinced at all. To me there is way too much info this time. Per one of my favorite expressions, it is like the inmates are running the asylum.

Too much circumstantial spoiler info with no definitive screen cap info, has me hesitating a lot.

Chris has also had the most bizarre edit for someone getting a hometown date on this show. The last time I can remember someone going to hometowns was shown less with the lead than Chris was way back in Aaron's season. Why is Chris getting the where is Waldo edit? If TPTB wants this guy to be their next lead, wouldn't they have him front and center, so America could all fall in love with him?

OK... the music mentioned above is no big deal. Except that JP Rosenbaum is doing his "ILY" when the music starts, just as Chris does in Iowa.

In any case, Desiree says "melt my heart" after his poem in Madeira... again, matching him up with the other Chris... if it IS a "sign" for F1.

Exactly my point. why wouldn't Andi be the same, with whom ever her f1 is? Seeing all the SM comments from her or from family members she isn't quite being the "good little soldier" . Especially with Andi a lawyer, she knows when to keep her mouth shut, and she's being very vocal, in a non vocal way.. Wasn't that her father driving the limo on the M&G? If got that "job", he must be in with the producers, and I can't see him being sloppy about SM activity. I don't know, it's just typically the f1 and their family are so "afraid" to spill the beans that they are usually extra cautious..Josh's family has been more than exuberant on SM. Makes no sense to me especially after MF going out of his way to fool the spoilers in Des' season.
