But whatever, I'm glad that they got the beautiful wedding they wanted without TPTB's influence.
Exactly. IMO it's because they didn't want to agree to their shenanigans of a televised wedding. They dragged on the planning, and IMO it's because of the ongoing talks. JMHO but these two are one of the most sincere honest couples and my biased opinions tells me, they would rather do things their own way, thank you very much, in the most polite manner they can, which they have demonstrated right from the beginning.
Speaking of foiler, Chris continued foiling with the wedding date, as sleuthed by many here. Hilarious, that he got RS once again and we were correct!

I think if they asked them they would say yes to it since they admitted they are open to it and I have no doubt they possibly waited a bit for the franchise to approached them at that point. But they never heard anything from them so they went with their own way. I don't think them not televised their wedding like the BIP couple this weekend is a big deal to both of them. Although in some ways to those people who have thought all along that chres might be the one rejected or refused of a televise wedding the reason theirs not on tv if the case of RS said about what he knew the franchise never interested on them is just not a good thing to hear . But they got married already with their own and I don't think chres giving a big deal that another BIP wedding televised this weekend . Jmo .

CH (the liar ) says they almost came to a deal for a special 'that wouldve included their wedding' and it eventually fell through. I doubt they'll ever really say. I think if the 20th anniversary special were a year ago they probably wouldve landed a TV wedding. Who knows though. They still include and invite them to special taping stuff. BiP, New Year's float, where are they now updates, ATFRs, Bachelor live aftershow last month (they declined, it was their wedding anniversary), and featured them in the anniversary special too.

Yes bleu I was going to say that about CH but forgot. It was at that time that I came to my own conclusion that Des and Chris wouldn't agree to their demands. It was the way he said it. He was trying to offer a reason to satisfy SM asking why they didn't get a TV wedding but at the same time, he had his liar liar face on.

Also, after the final episode the couple received so much flack for the whole Brook's issue. Maybe the couple not only wanted to do their wedding their way and with total control, but also had had their eyes wide open regarding how TPTB truly are. Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me. I say good for them. Do it your way and have control of the ball. You didn't need to sell your pound of flesh.

Glad they did it their way and are so happy today. Another couple that got together on Bachelor Pad one of their spin off shows is Holly and Blake that never gets mentioned at all. Its all so odd how some couples are flaunted at every opportunity and others largely ignored.

Speaking of her book. How it is going ? Did she do any public promotions like others did ? I saw Emily's new book is best selling now .

Is her book just wedding planning tips? Or does she get into her life and some bts stuff from the show like other alum?
Love Des and Chris. I'm still bitter they got the tv wedding shaft.

I can't imagine Des's book is a trashy tell all like Courtney or Emily. JMO

Haha - I'm not looking for trashy details, but I do like some of the behind the scenes tidbits some of these people give us. I probably wouldn't read it regardless, but I'm more likely if there are some fun details. I planned my wedding like 6 years ago, that's come and gone, and dear Lord I hope I never have to plan another one for myself. So if her book is JUST wedding planning, next.
