Little Things...

There is an oddball way that they edit this show.

During the evening portion of the mime date, we hear Andi narrate with the following screenshots:

"Today was a lot of fun with the guys"
... Andi and guys in dark, hard to make out faces

"... and I'm looking forward to tonight"
... all guys still in the dark but CHRIS walking under a light so he appears as if he is this "flashbulb"

Andi to the guys: "Here we are"
... and empty couch is shown.

The editors are having a FIELD DAY with "hidden" Chris this season. Frequently popping in and out of focus and getting The Light periodically.

Another favorite of mine on the Mime Date ("there are no mimes in Iowa… guaranteed")

Chris’ face is covered by his arm next to a scowling Nick when Andi comments “Why would you be on a group date when you are feeling strongly for somebody?” She then continues “but the other part of ME is… you’re here. You are not going anywhere on the group date so you might as well take advantage of the moment.”

In other words, she is NOT talking about Nick. She taking about HER SELF. Chris conveniently covers his face when she says she is feeling strongly about somebody while TV viewers think Nick is "feeling strongly".

LOL, Oh my just saw that and how strange is that!? It was obvious looking after you pointed that out!

Yeah... the way they are editing Chris all season long is an absolute riot! Even if you think It-Must-Be-Josh-And-There's-No-Other-Way, you HAVE to be downright curious about what is going on here.

It's the Secret Admirer Edit. But that to me doesn't mean he wins, necessarily. It's a (feeble to me) attempt to create a new type of plot line. Building on the (true) phenomenon that has happened where the lead and one or more contestants pass notes. I am awaiting the Big Reveal, but can't imagine it will deliver any real punch.

Back with the guys with her Lawyer Mind in operation... "If any y'awl think this is a joke to me (poor Brian gets a face shot here)... if any y'awl think I have a poker face, you can say it now and walk your ass on out, because... it strikes just such a nerve to me...

She was half smiling when Nick showed up to "comfort" her.

Freakin' Mind Game!

I mean... this last episode. OK... another odd-ball "what-in-tarnation-are-they-up-to-again?" moment...

She says right before her sitdown with Chris, as if he is "out of focus" on this TV show,

"I don’t want to bring his fate into the drama in the house, but heck… we had a date about communication, so I am obviously going to bring it up."

Later, she says "You don’t feel like I am pushing you too much about what’s happening, but… that is something important about my husband. He will tell me anything. It is that bond."

It is as if she has already decided he's her husband, but wants to make sure he doesn't screw it up after the ceremony!

THEN.. with Nick, it all gets really strange. "IF I was your wife, would you tell me?"

Nick responds after a pause... "yeah". She then goes "OK" and he goes "Fine. Fair enough. I respect that."

HUH?

LOL, why, yes, yes I did! He's such a cutie... and I love this picture.. even if he's not f1 I would love him to be the next Bachelor! And I agree, I'm finding his edit fascinating!

I don't care what anyone else says but that scene of guys walking in and the light on Chris was bizarre! Why at that particular moment? Why him?

I wouldn't tone anything down, I would say most find it interesting to read. I know I do!   

I thought this season would be a snoozefest. Well... parts of it still is. Yet I am kinda diggin' this Iowa farm Easter Egg hunt. Every time Find Waldo is on screen, something weird happens.

When is Max64? You are right it is bizarre!
