No. She got her only 1-on-1 in episode 6 and never got a group date rose. Although Sean did bring her losing team back in episode 5 so he could spend time with her.

I don't know if their relationship progress is really a good comparison. They built a solid friend base first before going into the romantic relationship. But once they had their first date it was pretty much game over for everyone else.

Nope just one in ep6. Which was pretty darn late and therefore she was not likely to get another 1on1 in ep7.
While I get that relationship worked out perfectly it does not mean it is a season to be used as any standard measure.

A very early date in ep2 is normally followed up by another 1on1 if the lead has any interest in the person and wants to regain the connection. Though IMO there is a possibility that because Chris is not a high drama guy he didn't throw any mini fits about being worried and concerned like AshleyH and Clare.
We needs SCs or an episode description.

Catherine never got a GDR correct. The last one before the HTD went to Lindsey, but Sean said all three of the girls on that date (Cat, Lindsey, Des) were ones who would be getting HTD for sure so the 1-on-1 dates that last week were used to figure out spot #4.

And while she was hidden in terms of 1-on-1 dates, we saw interaction between them every episode and she definitely wasn't hidden the second half of the season.

I remember (Except ep1) Catherine being shown interacting, flirting and kissing Sean each ep prior to her 1on1 - Not the case for Chris who has already had a 1on1 date right at the start and still barely nothing with them together.

I agree, that's why I don't understand how she could take him to f3 and have it be believable to the viewers. Something has to change drastically, and that's why I think he'll get the last 1-1. We already know she's hot and heavy with Josh...

Weren't we thinking that there was room in the schedule for a 1-1 that RS didn't know about? Or did that idea get shot down...

I don't think it got shot down but just never got a definite answer. I still have hopes he gets another 1-on-1.

Well there are no SC's to confirm the last 1-1. It's hard to believe that Nick gets a 1-1 in Italy and the group date rose in the next episode, right before HTD's.

There has to be some kind of connection between Andi and Chris for Chris to be writing her letters. at least I would hope

After Eric's departure when Nick goes to Andi to let her talk about it Chris is the only guy shown in a PI saying I want to be the one to console her when something happens. Possible foreshadowing being her F1 and consoling Andi in times of trouble like after they are told of Eric's accident.  

In the second secret admirer letter, we had this line "I realize last week was very tough for you and wish more than anything that I could have been there for you, to hold you, to comfort you and to dry your tears. " His PI session "Seeing Nick coming back with Andi is tough because I definitely wanted to be that guy who was able to spend some time consoling her in a difficult moment, so yeah, it was definitely tough" (i.e. two uses of the word "tough" matching the letter). This is one of seven so far that look suspiciously shot post-show (same backdrop), along with one of Nick's and two of Marcus' (going by wardrobe changes). Yeah, I believe three guys know the ending of the season... whatever it is... or whomever she winds up with.

If you screencap that second letter, you can clearly see that they edited out one line of it. After "Being here in France with you is so exciting and I feel like the luckiest man alive", the editors snipped "to be here with such a beautiful woman" probably because it would be too obvious. He spent his day at Santa Anita with "one of the most beautiful amazing women that exist" (well... at least on this planet)

Another egg ...Chris is shown in a PI referring to their losing the 5 of hearts basketball game as being a "bitter pill to swallow" then when Andi is talking with Chris Harrison after the 4th episode when Eric leaves she repeats those exact words saying not being able to see Eric again to basically clear the air is a "bitter pill to swallow".....All these eggs in the edit do make one ponder!!!!!

She loves repeating a lot of words of Chris'... like the word "gut" was used a lot by him on his date and by Andi at rose ceremonies. Also "great love" was discussed in Santa Anita as well. For comparison, Nick and Andi are both seeking a "great love" because they don't just want "good"... not that they will necessarily find it together. In the last rose ceremony, she says over Chris "wanting to trust my heart and instinct". Chris' goal at the end of his date was to "win her heart".

Just slivers... seeing Sean simply laugh at Catherine for five frames of footage after the Harlequin shoot wasn't much to brag about.

Ashley H. stated her season that you don't need a lot of dates in order to "know". Yet having a lot of dates (like a looooong one with Ben in Taiwan) can do wonders to brain-fry contestants into thinking they are The One. She also had two agonizingly boring (and loooooooong) dates with Constantine and HE was the one who decided to leave at fantasy date time. I would have rather seen two dates with Ryan P. talking water heaters with her instead. At least I would have felt educated.

*chuckle chuckle* I know you aren't "sold" on a dark "horse" winner this season, but you do need to get weaned off of "patterns". I got weaned for good last season since far too many "patterns" were broken. I mean... after all of that late night "let's not kiss"-ing, I found it hard to believe anybody would accept him post-show without an expensive ring they could hawk for cash. Yet there is so much going on behind-the-scenes and so much funny business done in the editing room that we never really know what is real and what isn't anymore on screen. The only thing we can be confident about is that Clare will be back in the water this summer... doing what she likes best.

There was a time anomaly between France and Italy. The posted schedule had two free days between the 2. Strange since it is less than 2 hours flying time.
