The Bachelorette 10 - *Final 4* - Speculation * Sleuthing - Spoilers*

I don't think it matters much when it comes to the Bachelor(as opposed to the Bachelorette)..The Bach doesn't start filming until late Sep. and the new Bachelor doesn't have to get announced at the ATFR. (and the F2s have gone on to become the lead before.)

Ben was F2 and he became the next bachelor.

But not always so certainly. For many seasons the F2 was the number one choice until things got complicated. Jason's season kind of screwed that whole formula up and the gig went to Jillian. Jillian's season was a bit of a free for all---- things continued a bit chaotic Ben was an F2. and his season is not too distant past.

Not necessary for the Bachelor since there's more time between airing the season and the beginning of filming (not to mention the amount of time until airing- so the audience doesn't consider the lead to have just been dumped- believe it or not, some people seem to believe that they air what they shot the week before). Ben was f2.

It was always his job for the taking. Arie wasn't the first choice. But he probably would have had the gig had Sean turned it down.

It's always easier for the F2 guy to be the bachelor compared to the F2 girl because of the filming schedules. Truthfully, I wouldn't be surprised if the F2 this season ended up as the next lead. But it all depends on how they are perceived and their popularity.

I'd put Chris as F4, but for how 'emotional' Nick is, so she'd want to cut things off before 'overnights'. So, I really agree with chloep.

You don't think Chris could be F1?

F1/F2: josh or marcus -- with either of these guys being the next bachelor.
F3/F4: nick or chris

Not from what I seen so far.

I don't think it's any more weird or creepy than making out with a whole bunch of strangers on camera!
