I would love, love, love Matt White doing an acoustic rendition of "Love & Affection," completely slowed down behind a piano.  Hugesmile

I absolutely loved what he did at Ashley and JP's wedding!

That was beautiful! One thing we want Chris and Des to know is that we want to see the wedding and the  reception, not just the wedding. I am sure this is will be the wedding to remember.

If the wedding is broadcasted live, as it was for Sean and Catherine's, we're not going to see the reception. It's a trade off: Waiting a month to watch the wedding with a couple of minutes of the reception or the wedding in real time?

JP and Ashley were married for about 10 days when theirs aired if I'm remembering right. I would take a bit of a wait to be honest!

I actually found the wait for the live wedding worse with all the promoting. I couldn't wait!

Just looked it up and it was 15 days. Jason and Molly's was boardcasted 11 days after their actual weddiing and I remember the wait as longer.

Regardless, rather certain it would be ABC and maybe Next's decision and I'm happy either way. ;)

I really didn't like the live wedding, I loved Sean's father and how happy they both were, but I enjoyed the flow of the JP and Ash special much more.

Honestly, I didn't like the live wedding either, there I said it. It was very weird to me. So, for that reason, I don't want it to be live. I really enjoy watching Jash and Jasmoly wedding and reception over and over, never get tired of it.JMO.

Mura, because after the ceremony, so much goes on that they just can't cut to the reception in one commercial break. Photos of the bridal team, families, etc (lots!), moving hundreds of people inside and getting them seated, touching up the bride and any outfit changes, move production and set up inside, etc etc! It is essentially impossible to do, unfortunately.

And even after all of that, the reception is live, so they can't exactly cut to the first dance and all of the cute moments viewers want to see, know what I mean? It actually has to play out for them normally, which is more time than they prepare to show on tv.

Thanks bleu!!! So I must take side here. I have decided that although it would def killing me  :bigsigh: I'd prefer a postponed (is this the correct term? laugh out loud) wedding show in order for me to soaking up all the cute, sweet, awesome, romantic moments of the Reception. As per the Prince, it's got to be an awesome dance party. Thus, There is NO WAY in the world I would miss it!!  lolpanda . Someone  handwave ---whateva it takes -- pls make it happen  Praying   .TIA!!  :cutesmile!:

Just a note, while we got no official video footage from their reception, the guests at SeanCat's wedding were encouraged by them to share photos and videos. Because of that, we got multiple videos of their entrance, their first dance, the cake cutting, father/bride & mother/groom dances, the removing of the garter, etc. So really, we got to see all those moments even if it wasn't during the actually wedding special.

Personally, I loved the live wedding. I wouldn't have had it any other way.

Thanks for the heads up, umngirl Smiley

I dunno ...I may change my mind later. For now, I just think it's " too risky" for me to fully rely on guests 's "reports" on the socmeds. Besides, I guess I love the idea of Chres do the "live tweeting" with fans when their show is airing  Praying :cutesmile!:
